Primative Shed Cabin
The spot is secluded and green in the midst of the city. It was a perfect place for me and my little doggie. Easy on/off the highway.
The only issue for me was finding the road to turn on since the site doesn't have an actual address. Even with the note I got to help guide me, it took a really long time for me to get where I was supposed to turn into. I think a marker/sign at the end of drive would be SUPER helpful. It could be something generic, and would make it easier. The last thing I want to deal with is not being able to find the location at the end of my drive when I"m ready to get cozy! But I would recommend this site cause once you get there, it's lovely.

overall it was pretty decent! the main issue was when we arrived there was someone else (presumably from another booking on the property?) in our shed. they quickly left and were very apologetic saying they thought it was empty that night but it was concerning to us that someone else had been able to get in the lock. we were definitely anxious over that. when the shed doors were closed fully there was still a crack in between them and even with the lock on the doors were able to be opened pretty easily. it helped a lot that the person who was in there was very nice and seemed just as nervous as we were. otherwise the shed was exactly as described, and the property was easy enough to find (using google maps, apple maps took us to the wrong place). the property itself felt pretty secure and overall we were able to sleep fine.

Primative Shed Cabin
Perfect location for close convenience to downtown Youngstown. It felt like this private little oasis but so convenient to everything. The shed was cute and quaint and was exactly what we needed for our quick overnight stay.

Loved my stay at the Shed for the full July Buck moon. Lighting bugs and clear sky- amazing! Nice bed and so close to Mill Creek Park! Beautiful land and fast response with Sandra. Easy clear instructions.

We had a really fun stay here. It was a cool experience being in a natural oasis in the middle of the city. The dog had plenty of room to explore. The cabin was nice and comfortable andI secure. I will be coming back again in the future.

Primative Shed Cabin
Great experience
We stayed two nights, booked independently of each other, this is why I have 2 reviews of ELWR.
The booking of the site and the communication with Sandra was flawless, you will receive the code to the gate and since we stayed in the cabin, received the cabin lock code as well. The cabin contains a full size bed, 2 chairs and a table inside, it is also pet friendly so we were able to travel with our pooch. It was clean inside and did not contain any bedding other than fitted sheet over mattress. This is a full on primitive camp minus the tent setup. We did have room to popup a 12x12 in front of the cabin. The grounds itself was not rutted or muddy (we did show up on rainy day and setup, at the end of 2 days the property was muddy in front on cabin) we were able to drive in and out without issues. I absolutely love the fire ring on the property, we had a fire one night. Wood available onsite. Another couple setup tent camp down below us while we were there. The onsite porta john was clean and maintained and just a short walk from the cabin. As for the ambiance of the location, you must realize you are in a city, beauty and nature surround you, however the industrialized world and people continue to move forward while you are "camping". There is no water/electric/dump station/garbage onsite, pack in, pack out. We were able to order Bellaria pizza through Doordash and had it delivered. Overall, this is a hidden gem and also a value for camping. We look forward to returning!
