Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Our little piece of paradise is just over 2 acres with a pond, gardens, ducks and chickens, and a bee yard. Our home is one of the first built in the area in the 1790's and the Cabin is attached to our barn, built in the early 1900's. We are close to the amazing beaches of the South Shore, hiking, and surfing. Our Cabin has a woodstove fireplace, and a wood-fired hot tub outside (additional charge) to relax and rejuvenate in. The bedroom features a queen bed and in the living room there's a daybed and trundle bed (both twin size). A 3 piece bathroom is accessed through the bedroom and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The Cabin is attached to our barn, just across the yard from our home with views of our gardens, apiary and pond. This property was one of the original homesteads of the area with our house built in the 1790's. We are 2 minute walk to the Riverbank General Store for any staples you may need, or 10 minutes drive to Superstore or Sobey's in Liverpool. Our location is an excellent base for seeing all the South Shore has to offer from hiking in Kejimkujik National Park to the incredible beaches and Lighthouse Route for day trips. We have a little craft market in the barn which is occasionally open on weekends. Let us know if you’d like a to have a browse.

What an amazing little hide away in the woods. Cara takes extra care to make certain that you have everything that is required to make your stay as memorable as possible. Lots of communication leading up and during my stay. There was even some home made dog treats for my pup and some honey which was harvested off the land. I really enjoyed my 2 nights away from the hustle and bustle and would highly recommend staying here. A real treat. The bed was also amazingly cozy and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. There was even a coffee and tea bar which was a welcome surprise as I had forgotten to pack the magic elixir. 5/5 experience! You won’t be disappointed booking here.
