Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Property is surrounded on three sides by Nantahala National Forest. Camping area adjoins scenic Whitewater River upstream of Exit Falls, a dramatic waterfall within the national forest. Located less than 10 minutes from Silver Run Falls Trail and Coyote Fox Trail. Less than 15 minutes away from Cashiers and its numerous apparel boutiques, antique shops, home furnishing studios and outstanding restaurants. We recommend stopping at Cashiers Farmers Market for a picnic lunch to enjoy at their picnic tables or on a nearby hike. This is a "back country" site. It has not been formally developed with any amenities. Campers are welcome to us any spot within the six-acre parcel and enjoy the nearby beauty of the Whitewater River. This site is owned by a local land conservation nonprofit. Proceeds from rental of campsite will be used to support the conservation mission of Conserving Carolina.
