Please take note that this property was once an old boys camp and is an ongoing project.
We prioritize maintaining a natural environment, so please remember to keep your cabin doors closed when loading and unloading your car. This will prevent critters from entering your space.
We take cleaning seriously and have a thorough protocol in place. Before each stay, we disinfect every surface, including chairs and remotes. We also vacuum all rugs, furniture, drawers, and corners, clean all appliances, and wash and dry all linens, including the comforter, between every stay. We check all dishes to ensure they were properly cleaned, remove the trash, and mop the floors.
Remember to enjoy the benefits of the natural environment while being cautious and knowledgeable about potentially harmful plants like poison ivy and wildlife such as black bear. Stay on marked trails, observe wildlife from a safe distance, and have a memorable time exploring the wonders of the Blue Ridge Mountains!
At our Hipcamp, we pride ourselves on being "old school" hosts. We joined Hipcamp to meet new people and provide enriching travel experiences for our guests. We love chatting with visitors and getting to know them, but we also understand that some guests prefer privacy, and we respect that too.
Rest assured, we're here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have during your stay. So whether you prefer a friendly chat or a more secluded experience, we're happy to accommodate you.
