You will also have access to an outdoor shower, and a covered picnic table area. As well as access to a charcoal grill. Campers must bring their own charcoal.
Stumpy point is a small fishing village, bordering the Pamlico sound. The sound offers excellent Fishing, and boating/kayaking experiences. Stumpy point has a public boat launch at the end of the village. The alligator river wildlife Refuge is also a short drive north. There, you will see all types of amazing creatures like, black bears, bald eagles, red wolves, and as many turtles as you can count. The alligator river wildlife refuge also has a kayak route down through the refuge. Just be sure to bring plenty of bug spray.
You can also get the freshest seafood the Outer Banks has to offer, just a half mile down the road, at the N’Seine seafood fish house.
Directly across the street from the Fish House is the Lost Colony brewhouse. Where you can buy six packs of any type of beer they are currently brewing. Cash payment only at both locations.
The beautiful beach of Nags Head is only a 25 minute drive away. That is also where you will find all your big box stores for grocery shopping and other essentials, as well as activities like mini golf, go carts, gift shops, bars, nightclubs, and some fantastic restaurants.Site is located in the beautiful quiet, fishing village of stumpy point. On site, there is full electric, water, and sewage hook up as well as a covered picnic area, with a charcoal grill. There’s also an outdoor shower underneath the house, as well as a shaded private hangout area, to get out of the sun, wind or rain. Stumpy point boarders the Pamlico sound, Which offers great fishing, and other on the water experiences, including kayaking, tubing, kite boarding, and windsurfing. Stumpy point has a public boat launch at the end of the road.
Boats are also also welcome on site. They may be parked in the large open area of the yard to the right.
You can acquire the freshest seafood on the Outer Banks just a half mile down the road at N’Seine seafoods fish house. They will have the best deals on bushel of crabs, delicious, large, local shrimp, and all sorts of different fish.

In nags head, you will also find all the major big box stores for shopping and supplies. As well as many activities, including mini golf, go karts, a movie theater, and all kinds of amazing restaurants and gift shops.
