Nestled in a lush valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this sweet acre of land is situated where two creeks meet against a forested hillside. The green valley is populated with third and fourth generation family farms and lovely homes and fields. Happy cows graze across the road, and the night sky is clear of city lights. We are 5 miles from a gas station and store, 7 miles from a small local food shop, 10 miles from a family-owned winery with a tasting room in one direction and 10 miles from an Ingles grocery store in the other. Less than an hour's drive to Hot Springs and a half-hour to central Asheville. Enjoy coffee, tea, cream, toast, butter and homemade jam for breakfast! We love thoughtful guests who love and respect Nature and all life. We have Starlink for internet and it works great. Cellphone service is likely going to be via internet as there are "black spots" in our valley. Looking forward to hosting you!Enjoy a comfy night in our charming tiny cabin, set at the edge of a small hill with a spectacular view of a babbling brook below. Very zen and healing, which is the intention of this sweet space. Here you'll have a/c and heat, and spend the night in a sleeping loft with queen futon, feather pillows, and a port window that opens to fresh air. Bath area has a high-end camping toilet with electric fan (no odors) and there is a hot shower. The toilet is behind a barn style sliding door for privacy with a wide opening beyond, so make sure your companion is a close friend! Simple cooking/heating inside on a hot plate and toaster oven, with an outdoor electric grill for meats. Kitchen sink, plates and glassware, small fridge, comfy stylish vintage furnishings. Very private, with the main house across the brook, accessible but not too close. This valley has a history of family agriculture with vegetable gardens and farms, as well as happily grazing cows. Please note! You will be mostly off line inside the cabin. We installed a Starlink so the internet is great, and your cell connectivity will also be through the internet. The loft queen bed is a cozy space with a maximum 26" clearing between bed surface and ceiling apex. Wonderful birds' nest view of the hills from the loft window!

The Majestic Getaway
What an absolute magical place. It was exactly everything the pictures showed and more!!! The lightly rushing creek outside the window was the lullaby I never knew I needed! Michele, the host, was their when I arrived and was absolutely the most pleasant of people. She shared with me the particulars of the land and then went back to tending her garden. It is absolutely beautiful! So many butterflies! It is perfectly appointed and I wanted for nothing. The bed is dreamy! I would recommend this place ten times over and can not wait to come back! I’ve already booked my next stay! :)
