Attention RV and van-lifers, here's your safe haven! Introducing a brand-new listing, and I'm seeking your assistance in navigating the ins and outs of hosting. Located just 25 minutes from downtown Asheville, this property sits in a rural, fertile valley, offering breathtaking views to the north and south. Encompassing a total of 23 acres, 5 of which are nearly flat and ideal for parking/camping, while the remainder provides excellent hiking opportunities. A charming bubbling creek, a storage barn suitable for construction or running a business, and the promise of future hydro-power with solar and a battery bank by the creek add to the property's appeal. For those parking near the main house, a 120v extension cord is available for power and internet access. Alternatively, if you prefer to park by the creek, please note that there is currently no power, internet, or water available in that area, though plans are underway for hydro-power with solar and a battery bank. IMPORTANT NOTE: heavy rains turn this area into a mess, it can be tricky to get in and out after a big rain. You are welcome to park at the top by the barn and walk down with a tent, but your RV could get stuck, so keep that in mind. Anticipate future offerings with RV power hookups. Presently, the amenities are somewhat rustic, serving as a trial to gauge interest. Composting outhouse is available now!. Rainwater and shallow well water are provided. Looking for a place to park your vehicle while you convert it into your home on wheels? Happy to set that up with power, water, and even a barn in which to work. Feel free to reach out with any questions or suggestions; your input is appreciated!As there's plenty of space and no assigned parking, just put your tent or vehicle wherever you want. Down by the creek is most peaceful. Need to keep in mind that the ground can be soft. There’s almost no cell service in the valley and it’s smart to get your directions before you leave town. I’ll create a sign soon but for now you’ll be looking for a White House with black shutters on the left side of the road. The WiFi password is my phone number.

Turkey Creek Oasis RV

Great camp for pet owners!

Such a peaceful and beautiful spot to park. Only 25min from Asheville. No cell service down at the flat field near the creek, but you can walk or park up closer to the barn and connect to Reid’s WiFi. I enjoyed disconnecting and having to be intentional about getting online. The sound of the creek is so peaceful and it was wonderful to take a dip in the deep section. Reid is an excellent host and offers great amenities (option to plug in, use water hose, and an outhouse!) for the price…unbeatable! My dogs and I were super comfortable here and were happy to spend most of the day at camp, leaving only to catch a hiking trail about 25min away in west Asheville. Highly recommend!

Lovely Campsite

The campsite is gorgeous and has plenty of space. We stayed right by the creek, so be prepared for extra condensation if that is where you choose to set up. Reid was great and helped us set up our fire.

Turkey Creek Oasis RV

We loved camping on Reid’s property! It’s beautiful and the creek and cows were an added treat. It was easy to find and set up camp. I liked that there was no cell service. We’re locals and will happily come back!

Breathtaking Oasis!

Oasis is the right word for this gem! The landscape is breathtaking. The land is very open while offering nice privacy too. Go for a dip in the swimming hole! The creek at the bottom is a huge perk and so is the outhouse. Reid is a super friendly, accommodating, and caring host, and a thorough communicator. Even the drive out to the land off of the main road is breathtaking and never gets old. Cows graze in the distance, and so much beautiful wildlife everywhere. All around great pick.
