Wildlife abounds with deer, birds, and other animals to view. Take a swim or fish in the river, or bring your kayak--a public access with kayak put-in is located directly across the river from the campsite. Visit 3 wineries within 5 minutes of the site (Hidden Vineyard, Stony Knoll Vineyard, Haze Gray Vineyard) or venture a little farther for over 40 wineries in the Yadkin-Valley region! Less than 5 minutes away you can enjoy The Farm where they offer fresh produce and fun activities for children and families! Dock Southern Farms is only a few minutes down the road for fun activities for the family and amazing apple cider! Tranquil Fisher River Cattle Farm
Great camp-site
Bare bones campsite but it’s awesome. Make sure to pack everything you need. Host is super responsive. I stayed in a central location for both the Ararat and Mitchell River for fly fishing, recommend if you are trying to fine a good spot to camp for fly fishing trips or just need to get away to nature.

Great find
Hannah’s property was definitely a hidden a gem! Super private/secluded even though it’s right by the main road/public access across the river. No one disturbed us while we stayed for memorial weekend! Nothing there except a fire pit so come prepared with your toiletries! The cows were super cool to see/ hear from the site! I would definitely stay again!
