Not very private but great views
23 ft travel trailer
The site is great! Very nice views, lots of space, large, flat, level RV spot. Not very far 'off the beaten path' and very comfortable. A couple things we encountered: - The photos are old, and don't show the surrounding RVs that are all around the site now. When I booked, I thought we were reserving a remote and private location. It was not that way any more with permanent RV sites all around you. The mountaintop privacy was not as imagined. While the site itself is the same, the surroundings are not. So if you are looking for a private retreat, this is not it. - Speaking of the surrounding RVs, everyone there was very friendly. There is a common area that everyone hangs out at in the evenings. If that is your vibe, you're in luck, because it is right next to this site! If you wanted privacy, this is not the best news.... - The neighbor right next to the site has two hound dogs that he leaves outside in a fenced/caged area all day. If you're familiar with hound dog 'barks' or 'howling' you know the sound I am describing. We listened to them howl all day... all... day... The owner apparently leaves them out while he is gone all day. While nothing this site host can control, it was obnoxious to listen to all day nonetheless. Would I camp here again, no. Is it a nice site, YES! It just wasn't the vibe we were looking for. But overall, it IS one of the nicest locations we have stayed at.

Great communication from the owner. Very nice spot with water and power. Great views, good location to visit the beautiful surrounding area. Neighbors are full time / half time campers there and are super friendly.

Fall Camping With An Amazing View
27 ft travel trailer · With pets
amazing view from the site & hook-ups were all in working order. I will say the septic connection is slightly uphill by about 6" but if you're creative it no issue at all! the site is mostly level, we ended up using a singular block under both tires on one side of our Mallard M27. Finding the campground is very straightforward, but the site itself is a bit confusing, just look for the iconic firepit and a 10x10 wooden shed on your left, go past it and turn around below it. The turnaround is a bit tight but with a 3-point turn it was maneuverable for our camper. The only complaint I have is the neighbors dogs are somewhat loud and seem to be barking anytime our dog was outside, but aside from that the view is impeccable and the neighbors are very kind! P.S. Fall leaves were changing and it was incredible!

Full hookups near Murphy.
25 ft travel trailer · With kids
Good location. Good views nextdoor. Responsive host. Good hookups. Don’t come at night though as it can be a little tricky. Camper site is level but other parts have some slope. Haul out your own trash. Otherwise, as advertised.

Great spot for a camper. The spot is a pull through with power, water, and sewer. Everyone was great around the site but there were a few dogs that made some noise occasionally. With a fan I never heard them.
