Loki's Lookout
James and Sola were incredible hosts who did everything to make our trip wonderful. Fresh eggs from the farm, a meet and greet with the animals, a welcome basket and assistance getting to the site were just a few of the amazing things from our trip. The natural area gives you the camping experience and seclusion you're looking for! The site was a short walk from parking and complete with seating, water, grill necessities, and a pre made fire. There was an amazing small porch connected that had solar lights at night and really added a nice spot to unwind before bed and view the fire and water. The lookout was right by the water and we had access to several kayaks/canoes for exploring. The compost toilet had a privacy screen and right put front was a sink connected to a water tank. If you wanted, you could also take a few minutes drive back into town for any necessities or groceries. Highly recommend this great camping experience.

Mowgli's Tree House
What is essential is invisible...
We cannot express how absolutely wonderful James and Sola's camping experience was! For the nature lover it is an amazing place to stay!!! From the immediate hospitality from James, to the tour of their farm and the up and close meet and greet with the farm animals and the picking of fresh eggs for our next mornings breakfast!!! I can't help but go on!!! the walk through the very well maintained wooded trails leading to the secluded camp site that is literally right on the water!!!! was picturesque! James and Sola provide EVERYTHING you need for a very comfortable and very fun stay! Grills, fire wood, burners, water, boats, fishing rods! And peace and quiet!!! They checked in with us morning and night to make sure we had everything we needed, and when the weather turned, they came to make sure we were comfortable with a gas fire pit and opened the awning so we could still enjoy the outdoors in the rain. The tree house was fitted with a very comfortable bed and a toilet and the most beautiful views of the whole campsite. We unfortunately (our fault) had a canoe mishap one afternoon and capsized, we lost a few personal items in the river, but they have gone above and beyond on their own personal time to search for our belongings days after we have been gone. James and Sola are amazing humans. You don't come across genuine people like them very often anymore. They care very much about their property, their guests, and each other! You will not be disappointed! Truly a gem.

Mowgli's Tree House
Magical place!
This place is absolutely beautiful. The cabin was way more comfortable than a tent would have been. I also had a bit of a thunderstorm and all my things stayed dry and protected. James and Sola are very good hosts, always making sure I had everything I needed and always checking on me. I was traveling alone (as a 25 year old girl), and I felt safe and I knew I could count on James and Sola if anything happened. I really recommend this place!!

Glamming with dogs
We loved glamping at The Secret Sanctuary Farm. James and Sola were amazing hosts and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The campsite was furnished with everything we needed. Our dogs loved swimming in the creek! The fresh farm eggs were delicious! Really recommend this campsite.

Mowgli's Tree House
James and Sola have an amazing homestead that they've created. At the front is the farm with some of the sweetest animals of all time and a beautiful greenhouse. When you walk over the bridge to the back of the property and you find the coolest campsite. On our stay, we were led to the site by Sola and met by James who had started a fire for us. They both showed us the kitchen, the fishing poles, the kayaks, and gave us lots of tips on things we should check out during our stay. We stayed in Mowgli's treehouse for the first night, which we liked for the views and for the lizards that greeted us from the tree, and alpha's spot on the second, which we liked because it was a little bigger. Overall Sola, James, and their two pups have made an incredible oasis and anyone would be lucky to spend some time there!
