Welcome to The Growing Farm. A young Permaculture farm in the Pisgah National Forest of North Carolina. Gardens, bees, chickens, livestock dogs and goats are raised naturally to provide us and the community with seasonal offerings. We are located just under 5 minutes from the little town of Hot Springs and the French Broad river. Numerous hiking trails in the area. Asheville is about an hour away. While New port Tennessee is just about 30 minutes. We offer 2 primitive camping sites. We can accommodate vanners, smaller campers, small rv's and cars. Potable water is available, please bring your own jug. Firewood is available for purchase seasonally. There is a communal picnic table and fire pit. Being in the national forest there are sometimes burn restrictions. Camp sites are just passed the red barn. Backing in recommended. No off leash pets. We have farm animals that your critter may not have encountered before :)

The Growing Farm Camp
My partner and I had our anniversary trip to hot springs and stayed at Hassena's farm. One of the best camping experiences in awhile! Her and her daughter were super sweet and welcoming and we loved getting to know the baby goats and dogs around the farm. The view of the mountains was incredible and we felt very safe and the drive into town was about 8 minutes. Will definitely recommend to friends!
