A small homestead on the bank of Abbotts Creek near where it feeds into High Rock Lake. Peace and solitude , but close to the amenities of town. Less than a five minute drive to the grocery store, and less than a fifteen minute drive to uptown Lexington. Public access for kayaks is less than half a mile away. And the view is unbelievable! We’re currently undergoing changes! Check out our new camping platform, and stay tuned for a new, upcoming bell tent site. We have a corn hole board and bags now available for use, as well as a few other yard games. Please let us know if you are interested in using them. The edible landscape is available for you to enjoy. Do You Need Rest?
Kind people who share and serve thoughtfully and abundantly. The land reflects that. This is a retreat, a sacred land, a respite for all who follow where they feel led. One of my favorite places hosted by some of my favorite hosts. Come receive.

Omg, this was the getaway I needed for my birthday relaxation. A brisk walk to the creek, enjoyed the animals and serene cabin. Mrs. Cabin and Mr. Daryl are great hosts. The property is beautiful.

The cabin is adorable and well stocked. I love the solar lights everywhere. We barely needed our flashlights. And I was pleasantly surprised at how comfy the bed was.

Perfect Getaway
Wonderful and quiet farm oasis! Everything that you need is there; cabin, toilet, shower, firepit, electricity, trails to walk and a close town for anything you may need. Natalie was very welcoming and helpful. This will definitely be a place we visit again!

incredible property
The dancing pig does not disappoint! From the moment you arrive the vibe is eclectic, welcoming, and relaxing. Natalie and Darryl are incredible host. It’s obvious they are stewards of the land, love their animals, and have gone out of their way to make you feel like family. Thanks for thinking of things we never knew we needed and make a night under the stars feel even more special!
