Spacious Skies Sandy Run is a special little place in the Carolina Sandhills, right in the heart of Cumberland County, that may surprise you with its wonderfully unique brand of rustic charm. As convenient as it gets minutes off I-95 at exit 44, you’ll turn onto the grounds and into the sandy grove of native longleaf pines, complete with catch-and-release fishing hole and bordering trail for meditative meandering. Come join us when it’s about time to pull off the road after a long day on your trip up north or coming down south, or plan to stay for a little while at one of the best RV parks! Whether you’re visiting your loved one stationed at nearby Fort Bragg, planning to hike, bike or drive one of the 750 miles of themed cultural heritage trails in the county, seeking out a river adventure on a branch of the Cape Fear River, or just take in what all-American Fayetteville and the surrounding region in general have to offer, you’ll find the fun you seek from your home base at Sandy Run! With the vast number of our sites being full hook-up pull-thrus, you’re certain to find the perfect spot for your big rig or cozy camper. If you enjoy swimming pools, we have one for those hot Carolina days, Wifi, and brand new play equipment is in the works for your little ones along with many other amenities.

20/30/50 AMP Full Hook Up Back In w/ Concrete Patio - 40ft
Our family had the most amazing time at Spacious Skies Sandy Run. The people that run the campground were wonderful and because of their hospitality and the family friendly atmosphere we will definitely be back. I also want to mention that bathrooms were spotless and the campground was extremely well maintained.

Enjoyed our stay
The sites were quiet, nice views. Close to 95, but quiet. Nice pool & laundry. The staff went above and beyond to provide good customer service.

Easy access, quiet. [Imported from Google Reviews]
Easy access, quiet. We had the most level campsite ever! We didn't have to adjust it and never unhooked for our overnight stay. The receptionist was so very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this campground.

A lovely quiet laid-back rv campground that we come to once a year on our way to and from Florida. [Imported from Google Reviews]
A lovely quiet laid-back rv campground that we come to once a year on our way to and from Florida. Short ride to nice restaurants and the Army Special Ops museum in downtown Fayetteville. Reasonable rates. Easy access off 95 but NOT near the highway. Always very quiet and peaceful. Basic private restroom/shower combos are well maintained and clean. It is a pretty pine tree and white sand campground and you can sometimes see planes coming in to Fort Liberty (Bragg), which we enjoy.

Great overnight camping spot right off of I95. [Imported from Google Reviews]
Great overnight camping spot right off of I95. Far enough away that there was very little road noise. It is close to an airport so we could see and hear airplanes, but not overnight. The office staff person was lovely and moved us to a better pull through site. Would stay again if in the area.

Well it's a campground so there's no rooms but it what does have to offer is gorgeous! [Imported from Google Reviews]
Well it's a campground so there's no rooms but it what does have to offer is gorgeous! Quiet little spot nestled in the woods right off 95. Swimming pool, clean bathhouse, catch & release pond, weekend family events are just a few things it has to offer. Love it! Nearby activities: Fayetteville Speedway, Dirt Bag Ales, Historic Downtown Fayetteville, Botanical Gardens, 82nd Airborne Museum. Safety: This park is super safe. Manager on site. Guests look after each other as well. Walkability: There are walking trails and the entire grounds are walker friendly.
