Water front on the Core Sound on Sleepy Creek . We host RV and tent campers. The water out back is salty and there is a tide. Due to oysters the water out back is not good for swimming. We have a small sandy beach that kids seem to enjoy digging in the sand catching the fiddler crabs. its good for kayaks and paddle boards. Also some fishing. Secluded quiet acre on a dead end street. One spot in driveway for RVs and tent campers . use of whole backyard. Back yard has electric lightning. Only one outdoor booking on property. 30 amp plug. Treated Culligan system water hose. Bathroom facilities include hot water shower with bath gel and shampoo , flush toilet, mirror, and sink. Toilet paper and paper towels provided. Kayaks for guest use no charge. Gas and charcoal grills. I do not provide charcoal I do provide gas for grill. 1 Fire pot I do not provide wood but there is much fallen wood about in woods on both sides property. Clothes line Chaise lounges, picnic table, plastic chairs and end tables . 20 minutes from Cape Lookout ferry , 20 minutes from historic Beaufort. 30 minutes to Atlantic Beach. 45 minutes to North Carolina Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores We have chickens, geese, ducks, 2 peacocks, 2 friendly spoiled goats. We do have a rooster. He is a small bantam with less of a crow and shut up in the coop at night. The coop is not to far from the driveway RV spot. I find his crow faint but he does start up at 5 am. Peacocks are 1 male and 1 female and wander about, We offer coffee and tea in the morning or during the day to guests at no charge, Substantial breakfast buffet from 8 to 11 at 12.00 per adults per day no charge for children . Free wifi.Only one camper at a time. Grass lawn sloping down to small beach on the Core Sound. Due to oysters the water out back is not a good choice for swimming. Woods on either side of property. No neighbors. One house across the street. Back yard goats,chickens ducks peacocks geese. Chaise lounges picnic table fire pot beaches 15 to 30 minutes away.

A friendly place

Pat is a terrific host and a wonderful storyteller and writer. Her breakfasts are delicious and only bettered by her kindness and conversation. I’ve visited three times, camping this time, and it was pleasant and peaceful.

Patricia's property was beautiful and it was pretty cool to watch the animals roam around, especially the Peacocks. The moon on the bay was magnificent and it was a perfect spot for admiring a sunrise.

Pro private digs, beautiful.

We have a 20 foot RV, snugged in next to the house. Bay view. 30 amp service. Patricia limits the number of campers, so you will most likely not be in competition for the outdoor shower or toilet. Buy the breakfast. She really does it up. Five stars.

The goats are adorable!

I had a great time camping here! I have a small hybrid teardrop and it was easy to pull in, turn around, back up and set up camp. I stayed 2 nights and payed extra for breakfast which was delicious! The goats are adorable, as are the rest of the animals. The roosters do crow early but I had a fan with me so it didn't bother me as I am an (somewhat) early riser anyways. Electric was easy to plug in and I didn't use the water hook-up but it was available. Not sure about sewer as I don't have it on my camper. The outdoor bathroom is on the other side of the house so bring night shoes (flip flops, crocs, etc) and a flashlight but it is clean and roomy. The location is about 15 minutes from the nearest Food Lion but there is a smaller grocery 5 min. away. Location is about 20-ish minutes from everything: Harker's Island, Beaufort, and Cedar Island. Patricia is a very welcoming and experienced host. All in all a great experience and I highly recommend.

Private location with a great outdoor shower and bathroom. Host is friendly and very accommodating. Electrical and water on site was very nice.
