Pucker Up Berry Farm is located at the bottom of Becky Mountain within minutes to Dupont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and downtown Brevard. This property was uninhabited for over 75 years until recently purchased in September 2017. Since taking ownership, we have established a small farm and berry orchard to supply customers with high antioxidant fruits, vegetables, and berries. Hipcampers will enjoy the morning and evening chatter of birds, gorgeous mountain sunsets, and easy access to local forests, trails, and restaurants. Learn more about this land: Campers can expect a mountainside view, landscaped gardens, a berry orchard, farm art, and a gallery of bird sounds and sightings throughout your stay. Enjoy beautiful sunset views from above the orchard. The space feels friendly and welcoming! Your campsite includes numerous tent spots, a large fire pit, four wooden adirondack chairs, four plastic adirondack chairs, a 16x16 covered kitchen space with electricity, a mini fridge, cooking supplies, a picnic table, an outhouse, an outdoor shower, and a large space for outdoor games. A chicken pen and a few trees line the upper part of the site. The flower and vegetable gardens are above the campsite, and the 150' x 200' orchard extends up into the woods/mountainside. Guests are encouraged explore the orchard, gardens, and orchard perimeter throughout their stay. It is important for our guests to get an experience. We encourage you to pick a flower and put it in your hair. Or, maybe you want to cut a whole vase full of bright showy flowers and learn the components of a complete arrangement ($25/ in season guided tour). You should definitely harvest a head (or two!) of lettuce for a large salad at the picnic table. Ever caught a chicken? We want you to ask for the experience you desire. When you get here and see what berries or vegetables are in season, we will help you create a Pucker Up Berry Farm tent camping experience. The surrounding woods/mountainside are open for exploration or hiking. Cell phone service/reception are very good. Additional firewood is available for $7/bundle. Kombucha ($6/bottle) and farm fresh eggs ($6/dozen) are available upon request. Seasonal produce prices and availability will vary.

Family Camp at Pucker Up Berry Farm
Absolutely fantastic, scenic, beautiful site to have a relaxing time with family/friends. Eric was a phenomenal host and went above and beyond for our accommodations. Will certainly be back! It was a treat to be able to walk the property and see all the hard work they’ve put into their land. Smelling the fog as it rolled in picking up the aroma of all their flowers.. just magnificent.

A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Hosts
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pucker Up Berry Farm, and it was an experience I’ll never forget! This was my first time staying in North Carolina, and after a less-than-ideal experience at a campsite in Asheville, I was thrilled to find this wonderful place. The hosts, Eric and Wendy, were incredibly kind and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel right at home. They even allowed me to stay in their more expensive area at no extra charge since it was available, which was such a generous gesture. The campsite is perfectly located near Pisgah Forest, offering breathtaking views of waterfalls and mountains, and plenty of outdoor activities. It’s a much better option than Asheville if you’re looking for natural beauty and adventure. Eric and Wendy were the friendliest hosts I’ve ever encountered. Their warmth and hospitality truly made my stay special. I give Pucker Up Berry Farm five stars and highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a camping trip in Brevard. It’s a family-friendly spot that will make your trip memorable!

Best family camp spot ever
Their hospitality is incredible! The space is so sweet, and the amenities with the shower, mini fridge and covered area were really nice to have as a family. Epic camping experience on their farm and their hearts are gold.

Not Quiet but Convenient
The hosts did a great job of providing a beautiful space. The outdoor kitchen and the outhouse are simple, but thoughtful. The location is very convenient to Brevard and Pisgah Forest, however its close to much more noise than we anticipated: you can’t see the road from campsite but can definitely hear it, the sawmill next door was running on Sunday morning before 10 am, and some neighbor played loud country music from midnight to 2:30-3 each morning. None of it the fault of the hosts but definitely not the quiet rural experience we’d hoped for.
