Our property is a small hobby farm. The meadow you will be camping in was formed in 1994 when hurricane Fran came through and laid down several acres of hardwood trees. The fallen trees were harvested and the land was cleared and a pond was built and a blueberry patch was planted. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the firepit and the beautiful starry nights. We have two very friendly farm dogs that do roam the property and will likely visit you. It's a very peaceful place with plenty of space to roam. The bugs weren't too bad for when I camped there, but it does help to pack some bug spray and be mindful of black ants. There's plenty of shade in the morning and early afternoon if you camp between the fire pit and woodline. The firepit is nicely built. Philip was great for ensuring the firewood was stocked and readily available. There's also a large trashcan by the firewood. The pond is mostly shallow, but still good for wading and cooling off. There are also small fish stocked in the pond if you would like to do some fishing. The bathhouse was nice with a screened in porch that had a table and a few places to sit. The bathroom was clean and maintained. The outdoor shower was also pretty good with plenty of hot water. You're only about 10 minutes from a Walmart and plenty of restaurants. If you're looking for a nice peaceful place with plenty of privacy, easy access to supplies and good amenities, I'd recommend this place.

Beautiful Meadow!

Had a great time camping and fishing. Rolling hills, orchard, and large pond. Weather was nice. Phillip was a very friendly host. Site was very secluded. Clear instructions and amenities. Thanks Phillip!

Another Wonderful Time

Another year, another wonderful camping trip. Phillip does such a fantastic job hosting our group. We had 20 some attendees for camp this year. Everything went off without fail and all our campers loved the site. Phillip is kind and courteous to us all and we are thankful to be able to attend.

This site was amazing! Definitely exceeded our expectations. We had so much space to let my dog run her heart out and the pond for her to swim in, not to mention it was picturesque. Even with having so much space, the spot was super private. Could not see or hear anyone from our site. Trash can was provided, so we did not have to worry about packing our trash out. There was also plenty of wood provided for us. The bathroom with a flushing toilet, running water, and outdoor shower was a HUGE plus; the shower was so refreshing after sweating in the sun all day. Literally the only downfall was the lack of shade in the afternoon/evening, so I recommend bringing something for cover if that bothers you. Phillip was a great host and we will definitely be back!

Meadows and ponds and fireflies

My wife and I had such a peaceful time at Phillips gorgeous meadow on the blueberry farm. Right near a pond with carp and so many frogs, fireflies everywhere. Serene doesn’t do it justice. And we loved meeting Luna as well. 🐾 Phillip was so welcoming and accommodating, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great camping experience. We’ll certainly be coming back!

A relaxing escape

Beautiful property and sunset. Great amenities. Perfect communication. Great chill weekend with a small group camping by the pond and hiking the Eno. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
