Marshall Creek Farm is offering 2 camping spots on our 26 acres property out in the country of Westfield NC. Just 15 minutes from Hanging Rock State Park where you can enjoy scenic waterfalls and breath taking views on some of our states most beautiful hiking, biking, and horse riding trails. First site is a cabin for two nestled in the private woods on a ridge on the back of the property. Second site is a tent/rv site that sits on the edge of a 3 acre pasture on the bank of Marshall Creek. We can also accommodate your horses with a barn and paddocks should you want to enjoy some of those trails on horseback. Other nearby interests include kayaking/tubing the Dan River, Zip-lining, Pilot Mt. State Park, Also the town of Mt. Airy (Mayberry) from the Andy Griffith show. You can also visit the well known Maybry Mill on a nearby section of the Blue Ridge Parkway. And of course you can always have a memorable time simply hanging around camp enjoying a cozy fire or gaze into the brightly lit starry skies that have escaped the city lights. If you’re ready for an outdoor primitive time, it’s absolutely what you’re looking for me and my wife enjoyed every bit of it, including the outhouse! Showers were brisk but fun to stand by the campfire afterwards and warm back up! No

I loved Marshall Creek Cabin. It was the perfect base camp to go hike Hanging Rock. There are many little thoughtful touches including solar lamps around the property and a small light in the outhouse. I enjoyed reading in the hammock and sitting under the stars after dinner.

A welcome escape!
I rented the Marshall Creek Cabin as a place to stay for a friend's wedding weekend in the Moore's Springs area; and it was the perfect place to decompress after the various functions that were planned. Totally quiet out there at night, with only the insects to provide the soundtrack. Slept like the proverbial baby, with windows and door open both nights to let the cool Fall air in, and enjoyed morning walks on the paths that Darin has cut around the site. Would totally stay here again the next time I'm in that area!

Nice site
Really nice camp site. Takes the edge off of primitive camping. Cabin is very comfortable and having the shower and wash stations is really convenient. Good location with short access to hanging rock State Park. Very quiet

Perfect for first time campers
This little cabin in the woods was the perfect place to relax without have to spend time setting up a site. All the essentials are here including firewood, grill, camp stove (I used my own), dishes and utensils and a very comfy bed. My pup has the best time playing catch and the creek close by. Also, learned a few things about mushrooms and searching for different species. Highly recommend and will return.
