We are open for fall camping. We’ve had no storm damage in our area and the roads in this area are open. Private property bordering Nantahala National Forest on Little Snowbird Creek in Robbinsville, NC. 16mi from Lake Santeelah, about 10mi from the Cherohala Skyway. MUST HAVE 4X4 OR AWD VEHICLE TO ACCESS MOUTAINTOP CAMPSITES. Property damage fee of $100 for 2WD vehicles not adhering to rule. 2WD vehicles must camp creekside, sites 1-6. NO AXES, HATCHETS, MACHETES ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. NO NAILS IN THE TREES TO HANG THINGS. It damages the tree and causes them to die. Spacious camping lots, and great trout fishing along little snowbird creek which is on private property. Fishing privileges are actually written into property owners' deed on the purchase of land. Amazing views and relaxing sounds of the creek can be heard from anywhere on the property. Many Hiking trails are just a short drive from the property and please be respectful of others' property and no trespassing signs. It’s a kinda bumpy mountain road to get there but the secluded, peaceful and breathtaking views make this location a must-see and adventure.

“Blueberry hill” 7 mountaintop
Excellent Overland Camping
We loved our stay! The views were AMAZING and the host was such a nice and welcoming person. We highly recommend for anybody looking for some off grid / overland camping.

“Wild Potato” 4 tent site
Incredible camping
It was a fabulous campsite right next to the river! The owner was super cool and accommodating to all of our needs. In addition we were able to hike up to the top of the mountain to campsite 9 which pretty much has a 360 view of the mountains. Our dog was fed treats by the owner daily, don’t miss this wonderful off the beaten path location.

Site 9 - mountaintop, "Big Ian"
"5 Stars Isn't Enough"
Big Ian was a beautiful site to camp at. The view was stunning and the stars on a clear night were spectacular. Andrew was super friendly and quick to respond to initial booking and questions leading up to the trip.

Site 9 was absolutely fantastic! The views were amazing. We loved the seclusion of the property and the peacefulness of the surroundings. What a treat to get away from it all. We're already making plans for next Fall to return!

“Blue” 6 creek tent/towable
Andrew is a phenomenal host! This was our second year coming and every site has been extremely well maintained and very clean. The creek was crystal clear and there wasn’t any road noise or light pollution, making the stars beautiful! Lil Snowbird farm is truly a gem in southwest NC and we’re excited every time we get the opportunity to stay. Thanks Andrew!

“Deer” Creekside 2 RV/tent
We had a great time camping at site 2! Our kids are already begging to go back. We had plenty of space and being close to the running stream was amazing. Andrew was a great host and very accomidating. He was easy to reach and also provided lots of info of the area. We look forward to returning soon. The area was very clean and well maintained. Perfect retreat to reset and disconnect. Zero cell service but we enjoyed being disconnected.
