All to yourself

We are on five acres tucked in the privacy of our own woods. Although ridiculously close to all town amenities, you’ll enjoy the privacy our property offers. We have plenty of open space to enjoy! Play some frisbee, relax in a hammock, fly a kite, enjoy a walk through our woods, or just kick back and take in the mountain breezes atop the knoll.Camp on our beautiful knoll where you’ll be tucked in the privacy of your own woods. Enjoy the vibe of your own private park while being ridiculously close to all the local outdoor and town amenities. We boast super easy access with no steep or scary drives. We are ALL ABOUT DOGS and have a new outdoor learning center on our property. If you’d like to schedule a dog training session with @wncpawsabilities during your stay please let your host know. You and your pup/s will have access to agility and enrichment equipment. We like to think of it as our own dog park. We will soon be hosting outdoor canine adventure camps. We have a great frisbee field, trails through our woods to explore, and several inviting bonfire pits. Enjoy the shade of our stately Oak trees while chilling in the hammock. We are in the middle of everything our beautiful Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains have to offer.

Hidden Gem
16 ft car · With pets
Wow, what an incredible hidden gem! This place was absolutely perfect for our family of five, with three kids. It offers a stunning plot of land with breathtaking mountain views, spacious areas to camp and play, and wooded trails throughout the property for exploring and hiking. The dog agility course was a highlight—our dogs had a blast and even showed off some new tricks! It’s a private oasis that far exceeded all our expectations. The location is unbeatable. You feel like you’re tucked away in a peaceful natural retreat, yet you’re just minutes from downtown Sylva, with its charming shops, breweries, and restaurants. Everything you might need, from groceries to gas, is also just a short drive away, and Cherokee is only 25 minutes away. Although we couldn’t use the fire pits on the property due to a state-wide burn ban, the host was incredibly thoughtful and provided a camping stove for us. Plus, there’s a hammock with a perfect view of the mountains—ideal for relaxing. We’d seen a mention of road noise in another review, which made us wonder about the safety for the dogs and kids, but there was no issue at all. The road noise is in the distance and not because you are on a main road. You can't see any traffic from the property. We highly recommend this hidden gem, and we’re already planning our next visit! Our family unanimously agreed that it’s our favorite HipCamp spot by far!

We had an amazing time! The space feels very private and we were able to have our dogs off leash. They even have a fenced dog agility area that we were free to use along with a picnic table, fire pit, chairs, and cornhole. There was some road noise, but it was pretty minimal. We would definitely recommend this place for a weekend getaway!

Wonderful spot. You feel like you’re away from everything but you can really walk to the grocery store. The site is very clean and safe. Thanks again for a nice stay in Sylva.

10/10!! This location was great proximity to downtown Sylva and Franklin. The spot was very private and our two dogs loved all the open space to run and be free! The views were also great! We will 100% rebook and stay again in the future!

We really enjoy this area. It’s very peaceful and even thought it’s at the end of a neighborhood it feels very secluded. It’s just a great space.
