The Saxapahaw Country Club is a beautiful 31-acre working farm and event space. Located just a few minutes from Saxapahaw Village, it's a convenient and gorgeous place to stay. While we are happy to be a late-night crash spot for after shows, we hope you stay a minute to walk the fields, hang in the hammocks, sit by the pond, or take a swing from the branches of our 200 year old White Oak tree. You'll come down our curvy driveway through the trees, and see our event barn on the left. In front of the barn is a communal space for campers to enjoy with a great view. This area has a fire pit, chairs, wood-fired grill, handwashing station, and farm table. Please note, this farm stay is an agritourism activity subject to the limit of liabilities as described in N.C.G.S § 99E‑32(b). We have sheep and pigs in the far pastures behind electric fencing. You are welcome to look but don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats. Pork from the farm is available for purchase, as well as firewood. Nearby activities: Entertainment: Haw River Ballroom, Saturdays in Saxapahaw Eats: Cup 22 Coffee House, Saxapahaw General Store, The Eddy Restaurant, Haw River Farmhouse Ales, Steel String Brewery Nature: The Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co, Saxapahaw Lake Paddle Access, Saxapahaw Island Park & Playground, Cane Creek Mountain Area

High Meadow Campsite
I can’t speak highly enough about my weekend at Saxapahaw Country Club. Caitlin and Wes were such fantastic hosts and I’m so grateful they open up their land to campers. They easily accommodated my pop-up camper with electric hookups and my 2 dogs. I solo camped this trip and felt safe doing so, and I love that downtown Saxapahaw was just a few minutes drive away. I can’t wait to go back.

Pond / Stage Campsite
Sweet and secluded family spot.
Super nice and accommodating couple with a beautiful spot. My little boys and I camped by the pond area, which was prepped nicely for us. They enjoyed walking the property to see the sheep and swinging on the tree swing. About 5 minutes from the general store and the island park. Would recommend for a family. Starry nights and good vibes!

Wes is the best!
We had the best time!! Wes is absolutely phenomenal. He accommodated our last minute same day request to stay with our oversized rig and we are so thankful! We enjoyed NC rainstorms in the afternoon/evening and then was able to tour the property the next morning after the rain passed. The campsite was super cute with string lights and hammocks with a nice grassy area for the dogs and shade trees. It was also close to the barn that was also available for campers’ use with sink, fire pit, grill, etc. If you’re interested in farm animals/farming, I highly recommend booking a farm tour with Wes and check out the sweet baby piglets and lambs! We can’t wait to cook up the pork chops and pork belly we picked up as well. Thanks for everything Wes!

Great Getaway
Great spot and hosts. The site is quiet and spacious. Loved roaming around to see the animals on the property. You are only a couple minutes from the awesome little downtown Saxapahaw too. I will definitely plan to return and look forward to the vision of this property grow into something even more beautiful.
