30 acres hosted by Fen D.
Nestled in an ancient hollow at the foot of the Appalachians, Dragon Hollow Nature Sanctuary spans 30 acres of mature forest, mountain springs, and stream-side meadows bordering another 40,000 acres of Pisgah National Forest. It is the ultimate in privacy and immersion in the natural surroundings.
Set up camp by the 150-year-old barn, hike a trail, then enjoy the sounds of the babbling creek as you settle under the whispering trees for a sweet night's sleep.
Dragon Hollow boasts abundant wildlife, native flora, and rare species of plants and animals, thanks to its relatively undisturbed forest ecosystem. Bounded by ridges on three sides and set well back from the road, you'll enjoy the quiet solitude of this secluded location, surrounded only by the sounds of the woods.
