Very good getaway for my wife and I, definitely gonna be coming back soon! Beautiful scenery, went right after a storm so it was very moody, which ultimately was perfect.

The campsite was perfectly setup for what I needed it for, and had a beautiful small stream next to it that I got to listen to at night!

This was a really nice, quiet spot to stay at! During the day, you will hear nothing but birds and trees blowing in the wind. The stars at night are really bright and gorgeous as well. Sleeping is peaceful since there’s a small stream, and you fall asleep to the sound of that (and it’s nice to not have the noise of other campers around if you like the seclusion). We chose this area since it was a very short drive to visit the mountains the next day, so it’s nice that it’s close to some beautiful areas. The owner is also amazing and is quick to help with any questions you might have. We would definitely come back here another time!

Pretty little spot that is nice and secluded. We always prefer a spot where you won’t see or hear other campers and that is definitely true of this spot. There is a house across the road from the driveway that looks straight up at you but I feel that it is likely less visible when the leaves start growing on the trees. Even when you can see it, it’s so far away that you don’t notice it. The hiking trails on the property that we were able to find weren’t very maintained and were quite steep which didn’t bother us but is worth noting. The host states that there are miles of trails but from what I tracked on my Garmin, we were only able to find about 3/4 of a mile worth of hiking that was semi-maintained. There were some spots that seemed like they may be hiking trails but we were unsure of so we did not go on them to respect to host and the wildlife. Overall the campsite itself was great with a good level area to pitch a tent, park for a rooftop tent, or back in a teardrop but we would have liked for the trails to have been marked a bit better since they are advertised multiple times in the listing.

Great get away!
Dragon Hollow is a nice place to camp! With plenty of room to park and set up a tent, you'll feel very comfortable in this quiet, secluded spot. The fire ring is well placed and filtering water from the creek is easy. Definitely check out the trails that lead up to the ridge - it's beautiful up there!
