I needed a place to pitch my tent after a long day of driving and found Chad's location on Hipcamp. The setting was nice and rural and worked perfectly for my needs. Woke up in the morning and there were deer in the field across the way.

A very quiet, peaceful, home base while we climbed and hiked in the surrounding parks (Pilot Mt and Hanging Rock State Parks).

Chad’s place was a good experience. Conveniently close to Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock State Parks. Chad was friendly, responsive and very accommodating. The sites were a little uneven and we couldn’t get our trailer completely level, but it was quiet and peaceful.
