If you only camp once in your life, make it Cedar Island Ranch. Here, you can ride a horse along miles of undeveloped beach that hasn’t changed since long before the Spanish explorers set eyes on it. Rent kayaks, paddle boards or canoes, go fishing or have a romantic weekend on the beach. We’re open year-round for your vision of a family vacation paradise or a perfect honeymoon. We’re open year-round. Bring your home or stay in the comfort of our 2-bedroom Suites or beautifully renovated Motel Rooms. Most RV sites have ocean or bay views – 17 are directly on the bay water. Twelve pull-through sites directly face Cedar Island beach with fantastic views. Our RV park has 61 spaces with water plus 30- and 50-amp electric service. When the guests ask, we provide. So, we’ve got everything you need for an unequaled coastal experience right here. The Cedar Island Ferry terminal to Ocracoke Island and on to Cape Hatteras is right at our doorstep. You’ll have free Wi-Fi, clean bathroom facilities, and an enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff to help. Bring your boat. We have a private ramp and a state ramp into deep water and Atlantic access.

Central Back-In FHU 45ft
Absolutely worth it!!! Will repeat!
Came to Cedar Island Ranch for Thanksgiving. It was peaceful, beautiful and relaxing! The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular!!! Walks on the private beach, priceless!! The horses, cows, and various wildlife was an added bonus. I don’t think I have ever seen that many types of birds in one place. The furbabies absolutely loved the dog park and I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the sound while I watched them play. The bathrooms were clean and kept up and heated!! Staff was so friendly. Already planning a return trip!!!

Wooded Pull Thru FHU 50ft
We had the pleasure of booking a site with full hook up at Cedar Island Ranch. We hiked the beach with the wild horses and cows for two days. I can’t describe the waves, the birds , the warm sand on my bare feet. It was 3 days of solitude we needed. ❤️

Waterview Pull-thru FHU 65ft
Absolutely loved it!
The wild cows were so cool! The horses were beautiful and well kept. The park was perfect beach environment. Very clean. The beach is private only for guests of the ranch which was a pleasant surprise. My pull thru spot gave me a beautiful ocean view out my bedroom window 10/10 will definitely be going again! Might even snag a seasonal spot when they become available :)

It was a beautiful place. We were there in late October so not many campers but the scenery was beautiful.

Quiet, Beautiful view of the water. Loved the horseback ride. Clean bathrooms. Good fishing. Not a ton of amenities and wifi was very spotty, but that's not what we went for. We loved our trip.

Motel - Queen - Pet Friendly
I usually use Hipcamp to find camping spots but this time I chose to stay in a room. I had the best experience with Cedar Island Ranch. Clean, bright and cat accommodating, we loved it! Great quiet getaway!
