Camping Close to Asheville
Jeff and Farnny are kind, hard working, and down to earth people. My family very much enjoyed the camping there. We especially liked interacting with the goats!
We ended extending our stay and Jeff was flexible and understanding. The camping sites were pretty close to one another but it didn't bother us. As a tip, campsite 1 has the most shade, so if you are a late riser go for 1. The community building with kitchen, bathroom, and showers is a nice touch. It helps to create a nice balance between roughing it and still having access to the most basic of amenities.
The camping is on a hill above the farm and two houses. While staying there, we witnessed two weddings, a birthday party, and hemp fest. But because the camping is separated we never felt like our space was invaded. Like another reviewer said if you want privacy you can get it, but if you want to be immersed you can also find that.
My family and I really liked camping here and recommend it. However, it is a farm and if animal noises bothers you then maybe look elsewhere. I personally liked the sounds, as I never get to hear a donkey in the suburbs! : )
Camping On Organic Farm
There is a lot going on here. For campers: sites are very small. And you are camping way up on a steep hill (you drive to). There are showers and a fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The fire pit is nice with wood provided. Caution... when booking through this site you pick a specific tent site but the hosts say otherwise.
They also have a little mini cabins and canvas tents set up.
Camping On Organic Farm
The grounds, facilities, experience and vibe are top notch here. The views are stunning. The biggest detraction, and the reason I likely wouldn't return is the constant noise from the neighbors. From dirt bike & four wheeler riding all day, to loud music, to constant dog barking well into the early hours of the morning (like 2 to 3 am), and running chainsaws at 10:30 at night. The staff and owners of the farm are amazing and friendly and helpful, and I'm happy to have supported them. The noise was just too much for us.
Glamping 4 On Franny's Farm
Camping at Franny's Farm was amazing. Staying in the big Boy Scout tents was a super neat experience. Big inside to spread out all my gear. Warm & quiet despite the wind, and epic views over the valley. Love the project they've got here. Awesome people with an awesome mindset, cultivating an awesome community space.

Camping On Organic Farm
We had a great stay at Franny's! We got in after dark and were greeted by Jeff who gave us a quick lay of the land before sending us off to the ridge top camping area. The views in the morning were fantastic and it was such a pleasure to learn about the farm. Franny and Jeff have clearly put a lot of effort into designing educational components about the farm that were very much appreciated.
