The site's first appeal is the amazing view of Bull Mountain Ridge. Beautiful all year long, but particularly in late October when the leaves are in their richest colors. The site is roomy for small to mid-sized RVs and offers a private water hook-up, 30 amp, and 20 amp power outlets. It feels private and tucked away, but is very accessible to all of what the Asheville area has to offer. Downtown is a 15 minute drive; ride services and shuttles* are both easy to secure and quite affordable. Additional parking is available for a fee. The backdrop of the site is forested and easy to relax in - the understory is maintained for guest use, providing cooling shade with a stunning view. I usually try to say hello to folks and make sure they get settled in alright, but let me know if you'd prefer just to come in and have privacy. Don't feel the need to come to the house unless you can't get a hold of me via text and you need assistance. I may not be available when you arrive, but I'll try to get back in touch with you as soon as I'm able. *If I am available, I can offer boat, bike, and hike shuttling for a fee. I also have a one-person kayak, and a two-person canoe that are usually available and camping gear. Contact me beforehand if you are interested in renting any of these items. **Please be aware that this section of North Carolina has a particularly large population of American black bears. Any food stuffs, or other "smell-ables" will potentially attract bears. Refer to: https://www.nps.gov/articles/bearsafetyfood.htm ...for proper treatment of potential attractants. The site is roomy for small to mid-sized RVs, camper trailers max-out at about 20 feet, and offers a private water hook-up, 30 amp, and 20 amp power outlets. It feels private and tucked away but is very accessible to all of what the Asheville area has to offer. Downtown is a 15-minute drive; ride services* are both easy to secure and quite affordable. The backdrop of the site is forested and easy to relax in - the understory is maintained for guest use, providing cooling shade with a stunning view. Rigs measuring approximately 20'(vehicle) and 20' (trailer) can pull in my driveway (parallel to parking pad) and then back into the site for an easy departure in the morning. Please let me know if you have a lengthy vehicle/trailer rig as even experienced trailer haulers can find it difficult to navigate alone. The leveled pad area is approximately 21'x18' (please check your wheel base) with room to turn around in the driveway beyond and in the site.

Comfortable and Convenient
Williams was an excellent host and his RV site met our needs perfectly. The location was ideal. We were able to drive by our 24-foot RV into downtown Ashville we easily parked in one of many available paid parking lots. We also availed ourselves of the nearby Ingles Grocery store. Would stay here again!

I really enjoyed the privacy I felt at this site. Even though there were neighbors the host set it up with different blind spots so I was able to enjoy the mountain views and spacious site in peace. Only a few minutes from anything you would need in town yet you feel tucked away in the boonies. The host said hi upon my arrival and gave me a great coffee shop suggestion. He was prompt in answering when I asked for the wifi password even though I had asked late at night. Take his bear precautions seriously! I had a visitor the first morning there and it was magical but just make sure you are practicing bear safety.🐾

Great location and hospitality
Great view of the mountains and a very kind host. Location was perfect for a camp spot near the heart of Asheville. We felt like we were tucked away from town, but we were still very close by.

Williams was so welcoming and his property was perfect for my overnight in the Asheville area. Had a great fire going and even had a clear night to see the star. I hope I have the chance to stay here again!

We had a lovely camp out. Host was great and very considerate. This spot is close to town, so the area has a lot of neighbors. But the campsite still feels tucked away.
