Welcome to our little piece of paradise! We have 1 private RV site on 22 acres of mostly flat land in the South Toe Valley at the base of Mt Mitchell (highest peak on the East Coast) and the Black Mountain range. The view of the mountain range from our property and the campsite is incredible! We have mowed walking paths where you can enjoy the wildflowers, wildlife, and beautiful views. The South Toe River is less than a half mile away and is a great place to swim, fish, tube, kayak and canoe. There are great hiking trails nearby, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is 8 miles away (via a NC Scenic Byway). This is a rural area with several cute little towns that have restaurants, bars, and shopping: Burnsville (12 miles away), Spruce Pine (16 miles away), and Little Switzerland (11 miles away). We live in a cabin at the top of the driveway, about 200 yards away from the campsite.Park your camper on a level gravel pad in a mowed area next to a beautiful wildflower meadow. Enjoy the jaw-dropping view of the Black Mountain range. There is easy access to the campsite via a straight and mostly flat gravel driveway. The campsite has power (30 or 50 amp), water, and sewer hookups with a circular pull-through driveway. There's a picnic table and solo stove fire pit for your ease and enjoyment. We have firewood you can purchase. Our mowed trails are a great place to enjoy the wildflowers, wildlife, and ever-changing mountain views. There are no toilet facilities, so you'll need to bring your own (BYOT). We do not provide wi-fi. We get 1-2 bars of cell service with Verizon. We have a strict "no dogs" policy.

Peaceful
This is a very quiet and secluded campsite. We really enjoyed the stay. They have walking trails around the property as well as a small creek. We were able to get some good relaxation in and will definitely be back.

Beautiful and very quiet property. Love the natural fields with all the flowers, and the nearby creek is lovely too. If you like peace and quiet, this is the spot.

Private site with a beautiful view!
This site has it all. An incredible view of the mountains with prairie grass beneath, mowed walking paths through the grass, a stream nearby that you can hear from the campsite, full hookups, largest model solo stove to use... I really couldn't have asked for more. All of this and there were no other campers in sight as there is only one campsite on the property. We had a wonderfully beautiful and private respite from the heat and enjoyed a day trip up to Mount Mitchell. We will definitely be back.

The reviews say it all. It’s a beautiful, quiet spot. Also, this was our first trip with a camper, and the ease of access to the hookups with the pull-through gravel pad was very nice. So close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and some great hiking. It’s an ideal place for lovers of the outdoors.
