The location was nice. Bring a Thermacell. It worked after about 20 minutes. The campsites aren't what you are used to in terms of this is your dedicated space on where to set up. It takes a minute to get past that concept.
You just pick a nice unoccupied spot and set up there. Its remote and just you and the seagulls. Host was always in touch through the app and responsive to any questions.

Perfect experience!
This is a great hidden gem! We stayed two nights. My whole family had a great time! We fished off the dock, caught crabs from the crab cages, kayaked and had a great camp fire! The area was clean. Very relaxing. Everything that was promised was there plus more! The owners friend came by and gave us some fresh shrimp for fishing and helped us bait the crab traps. This is a great area away from all the hustle and bustle of town! We are adding this spot to our favorites list! Canât wait to get back down there.

Pelicanâs Rest was such a beautiful and peaceful spot for camping right on the water! I had a blast fishing off the dock and my dog had a great time splashing around in the water. I bought 2 bundles of wood and had more than enough to make campfire dinner and breakfast. Having the house with running water nearby was practically glamping! I wish I had stayed longer!

10/10 - Will be coming back!
Camping here was a great experience! The breeze from the waterway always keep you cool even in NC heat. The cabin on the property has a full bathroom, fridge, sink, and 3 beds. We slept in our tent the first night but, the weather during our second night permitted us to sleep in the cabin. The firewood we bought from the hosts burned all night and smelled great! If you are looking to get away from everything, this is the place to go. Be sure to overpack when coming here as the closest store is about a 20 minute drive. We will definitely be coming back here!

Great place with a great view! House with bathroom could use a little work to make it a bit more stable but extremely convenient to have a bathroom and a shower close by! Highly recommend for some time of peace & quiet!

We had a great time camping right by the water! Beautiful views and good fishing. We even caught a 23 inch red fish right from the banks of where we were camping :)
