It was great to have a chance to stay somewhere so we could watch the eclipse. Thanks for your hospitality, Jennifer!

Stayed on Jennifer’s land for the April 8 solar eclipse. I was so grateful to be somewhere semi-remote and close to nature! Jennifer was friendly & even offered to drive us into town for groceries if we needed it. Her property is right up against the Saint Regis Falls river and has lots of flat ground for camping- very explorable forest as well!

Looks bad but gets good within
Up front, the site looks not great. Junk in a yard (owner said it's been dumped when no one around), old tractor, etc., no sign, thought it was the wrong place. There's a pit with adult potty chair under a tarp (open to the sky, luckily it didn't rain), but you're allowed to dig and bury on your own. It gets better down a two-track though (but if you don't have 4WD you'll want to park and hike in maybe 1/4 mile, though you'll hit some muddy spots). But then, beautiful woods, gorgeous stream. Some swampy spots, being bug spray! Lots of room to find a spot. Owner's friendly, set up a group campfire. Even with eclipse crowd, we weren't crowded. Owner said they're new to opening to the public, and I suspect it will get better. I hope they clean up the junk, maybe put a real outhouse, some sort of sign to let you know you're there. It could be a real gem then.

Hidden River Oasis & Stellar Host
We recently stayed at this campsite and were absolutely blown away by the hidden gem we discovered. Tucked away in the back of a lush forest, we found a breathtakingly beautiful river that became the highlight of our trip. It was a serene, almost magical place where we could unwind and connect with nature in a way that we hadn’t expected. What made our stay even more exceptional was Jennifer. She went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and attended to. Her dedication to our comfort and enjoyment was evident in everything she did, from the smallest gestures to the overall management of the campsite. She was incredibly accommodating, always available to help, and genuinely concerned with making sure everyone’s needs were met. It’s rare to encounter someone so committed to their guests’ experience. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and eager to return. For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat into nature without sacrificing comfort or service, this campsite is a perfect choice. Highly recommended!”

Stunning Location!
It is a beautiful location with wonderful management. Jen was so friendly and went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and provide comforts including firewood and delicious food. The river that runs through the property and the hemlock forest on which it sits are stunning. I'd highly recommend!
