Looking for a quiet lakeside getaway? Unique property right on Cayuga Lake with 100 feet of lakefront and a skipping stone beach right out your door. I have 2 freestanding Casitas (small houses) set in a grove of oak and maple trees, right next to the water. Each Casita has a queen bed, outdoor seating, and an electric heater. The Casitas are connected by a wooden deck and share a bathroom. In addition, Casita Dos has a mini-fridge, microwavecoffee maker, and camping grill. The bathroom has an easy-to-use odor-free incinerating toilet and pour-through sink. Drinking water is provided. There is a Solo Bonfire set in a patio for evening outdoor fires. Both Casitas are rented as one unit. When staying at Tequila Sunrise, nature will surround you. Frequent sightings include ospreys and herons, mink and mergansers. Living in nature also means there are some insects! Here we have some spiders (mostly daddy long legs) that keep the mosquito population under control. Enjoy a slice of paradise in our cozy cabins nestled between two hills and along a small stream! Sit on your front deck just steps from the shores of Cayuga Lake with magnificent views of sunrises and sunsets. During the day, explore Taughannock State Park (3 miles away) or any of the many wineries right up Route 89. Or just stay put, take a dip in the lake or hop in our kayaks and paddle the spectacular shoreline. In the evening, relax by a campfire just steps from the lake and fall asleep to the sounds of lapping waves and singing tree frogs. I live onsite in a separate main cabin with my friendly golden retriever named Cayo.

Lovely cabins on Cayuga Lake!
Really lovely cabin next to the water. Felt cozy and isolated. Susan was great- responded quickly to any questions, and has made our stay wonderful.

Baby's Birthday!
Susan has an absolute gem here. Visited for the day and night for my Girlfriend' bday and couldn't have asked for anything better, steps away from the water, the views, the absolute peace and tranquility was just what was needed. The Casitas were spotless, the beds were very comfortable. Loved making smores on the solo stove and breakfast the next morning. We have no complaints whatsoever and will be back, for sure. 11/10

Las Casitas at Tequila Sunrise
Pristine & Inviting Waterfront
The casitas at Tequila Sunrise were incredible. You couldn’t get closer to the lake and the privacy is unmatched. You get access to both casitas and Casita Dos includes a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker with filters, coffee, sugar and milk. Susan, Doug and their friendly golden retriever Cayo were exceptionally kind and inviting. The beach with its skipping stones was truly pristine. The solo stove was really convenient for roasting marshmallows as was the grill for cooking dinner. There was plenty of potable water and you can tell Susan takes great care in her thoughtful touches for her guests. Our 3 year old asked if we could stay forever :) we will certainly be back! Thank you so much.

This is a truly special place. Sitting on the porch, watching the lake and the birds was magical. Everything was very well organized. A lovely stay!
