40 secluded acres with 1850 feet of clear stream with a great swimming hole. Our fenced fields with sheds boarders 9100 acres Sugar Hill State Forest, hiking trails and a dirt seasonal road that connects to other dirt roads. We have a mature pine forest grove that you can pick a spot to camp next to,or walk our creek and find a cleared spot to tent or just sleep next to campfire. We have been here 20 years improving what was run down, and continue to add a few pines and special private site for great memories! Our sites sit along meads creek which is nice to sit and relax in. At the bridge along maple lane is a very fun swimming hole ,which has been so nice all summer let your dog swim with you and have a nice float .we have a picnic tabel and fire ring at most sites . We are constantly making new fun sites to enjoy . fire-ring and outhouse! We have a pond to feed fish and explore on a canoe or bring tubes .always horses and donkeys to see . I have 1850 foot of stream to hike along and explore wildlife.turkey, deer, fox the occasional coyotes howling . We have been getting eagles.few bear sightings. ..we have .some pretty private spots along the creek . And under the pine tree grove.we border 9100 acres of sugar hill state Forrest. Tempest Ranch
We had a great time at Tempest Ranch! Communication with Dwayne was great - he made sure his son was there to greet us at the entrance and led us to our campsite. We had a camper van and booked a dispersed camping site which felt private, was well stocked with plenty of firewood, and was a lovely spot by the pines. We only stayed one night so didn't get a chance to explore too much but the property is beautiful and has lots of space to roam around. Definitely recommend for a peaceful, fun camping experience!

Beautiful Property
Dwayne had a beautiful property with lots of unique features! We ended up picking a tent camping spot back in the pine woods and it was perfect. He came to check on us and said we were allowed to explore his 40 acres of land. We even got to pet his donkeys! We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful space
Dwayne’s little slice of heaven was amazing! He met us (me and my hubby) as we pulled in, in the dark, helped us pick a great spot and even got a fire going for us! He was very hospitable. We stayed from Thur-Sun and we were right by the pines! The area was beautiful, even though we had no sun and some rain we enjoyed the hiking, amazing views and his property, the thick evening fog was cool, made it mysterious, we were even able to do some “off roading” in our Jeep (Beast Mode) on the attached state property trails, we hiked for miles and it was great! The evenings were peaceful and relaxing, and Dwayne made sure we had plenty of wood through our stay, we saw some wild life including deer, snakes, bats. We had plenty of privacy. There is no service so make sure to bring other means for music as we brought a small battery run radio which worked good, We will definitely be back with the whole family next year Thank you Dwayne for sharing your amazing property with us!! And for coming over Sunday to say fair well!!

Summer camping trip
Best camping experience I’ve ever had. Beautiful place, with very friendly owners. The sites are more private than a state park camping site which was really nice. I would 100% recommend this place.
