Sunset Waterfront Campsites
My friends and I had a great stay! Our camping area was at the end of the property beyond the cabins. The view is peaceful and beautiful. We were able to kayak, paddle board and canoe on the lake (all included in the price). Chandler was very helpful with all of our questions and needs. The grill you can use is all the way up by the main house so we suggest bringing your own. We used a grill grate and cooked right over the fire. There is also a great hiking mountain near by which we highly suggest (Mt. Hadley). We would highly recommend this site and can’t wait to go back!
Suggestions
1- Clear out the land of the tent camping area. When we arrived the area was very over grown with weeds. We had to rake them away along with the pine needles and pinecones.
2- Clear our a path around back the last cabin to get cars closer to the site. We felt bad walking in front of the adjecent cabin (although the people staying there were very friendly!).
3- leave a picnic table on the tent site.

Chandler was friendly and answered all of our questions. He also brought us a bag of ice for our cooler during our second day which was a nice touch. A few notes about the property: The two camp sites are at the end of a long row of cabins that Chandler also operates. You don't have much privacy from three of the cabins or the other campsite. They share an open space and beach with each other and the two campsites are about 30 feet apart without any trees in between. There is also trailer homes in the lot adjacent to the open space, but we didn't notice anyone looking out at our site. Luckily there wasn't anyone staying in the cabins during the weekdays we were there so privacy wasn't a big issue. You're also pretty close to a semi-busy road, so you'll hear traffic throughout the night. There is a nice liquor store, convenience store, and restaurant/bar a short walk away which is nice. If you don't mind being around others and hearing some noise I'd definitely recommend staying here. If you want a more secluded campsite, I'd look elsewhere.

Sunset Waterfront Campsites
Awesome property, beautiful location right next to the river with a private beach -- and lots of activities available, including kayaking!
Mountain Sunsets And Smores!
These decked-out cabins are elevated above Tiosaronda Bay, have great water views and have access to free kayaks from the dock. The screened porches make for great hangout areas rain or shine and the interior has a super cozy log cabin feel. Lots of great hiking in the area too including the fire tower and just a short drive to Lake George. I'd definitely come back again but allow more time to spend on the river and exploring surrounding hikes.

This is such a neat secluded spot up on a small bay on the Hudson and perfect for a long weekend getaway from New York City.
After a leisurely drive stopping at the must-do Phoenicia Diner we arrived in the afternoon, set up camp and met some friendly regulars who'd been coming to the site for years.
The owner/operator Chandler has the best life stories and interesting tales from the area, he joined us round the campfire for a drink and snacks at dusk. As there are only a couple of camp sites it doesn't feel crowded and the views of the water are pretty spectacular to wake up to.
All the camping necessities you left at home can be found in office such as firewood, tongs and mugs.
