Embark on an adventure up the red dirt mountain lane to reach our remote campsite nestled in the Northwest Catskills, offering breathtaking views of Mt. Ulsayantha. As you ascend past the hayfield and my off-grid cabin, you'll pass the Delaware and Schoharie County border marked by a stone wall. Settle into our secluded campsite, which faces east and offers an incredible night sky for stargazing. Take advantage of the adjacent fifty acres of fields and hardwood forests, perfect for hiking and foraging from blackberries and raspberries. Cool off at the Schoharie Creek swimming hole in Prattsville or the Olympic-sized town pool in Stamford. Golf enthusiasts can tee off at the Stamford public golf course, while cyclists can explore the Catskill Scenic Trail along the Upper West Branch of the Delaware. Fly fishing enthusiasts will find plenty of nearby streams and ponds to explore. For a cultural experience, visit attractions like Glimmerglass and the Farmer’s Museum in Cooperstown, the Museum of Anonymous Art in Charlotte Valley, or the Hobart Book Village. Escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and rich culture of the Catskills at our remote campsite. Just lovely
Tent
The site was great, we had everything we needed, including a pump to top up the air mattress. Host was easy to communicate with and we didn't have any problems meeting up to be guided to the site. Loved all the birds around. We will be back!
