Stonecutters Ledge located in the Catskill Forest 15 minutes from Kingston and minutes from Woodstock. Plan a visit to the spectacular new Ashokan Rail Trail just 5 minutes away. 18 miles of amazing artist vistas. Home to best hiking in the Catskills. The well equipped, easy to get to campsite boasts, running water, electric, hot tub, shower house, screen house, picnic table, hammock and horseshoe pits. The essentials are at the site (cooler, camp stove, pots, utensils, lanterns, coffee pot, firewood and more). Interesting trails right outside your door. We added an outdoor hot tub to the site as well as a shower house. Bring your swimsuit! The shower house has a private side for the portable loo as well as a shower side with running water. You may not want to leave, but Onteora Lake in the Bluestone Wild Forest is great for hiking, swimming and boating. Our campsite is located only 5 minutes from Ashokan Reservoir where you can fish and boat. Bring your own camping gear or rent ours, the adventures are endless! If festivals, farm markets and shopping are more your thing, we have it all nearby. Please contact me if you have a specific request. We'll make it happen! The Space: So close to everything! Site guidelines Do enjoy the woods, respect nature and be considerate of noise curfews in our town. Do take all trash daily to the dumpster next to Uncle Pete's garage to avoid unwanted critters and Bears. Don't keep food in the tent with you, put it in your car.

The site is absolutely amazing! It’s private and has all the amenities with lots of space! Jay keeps the site stocked with all the basics and then some and is quick to answer if you have any questions. What a lovely weekend and will definitely be booking again! Our favorite campsite we’ve ever had by far!

Stonecutters Ledge

This site was impeccable for our needs this past Memorial Day weekend! I planned a camping trip with 5 11 -year old girls to celebrate my daughter's birthday. 3/5 had never been camping. Therefore, this site was perfect: there were three big tents (including one big Tentrr canvas tent) with queen size blow up mattresses-- therefore, no need to bring out own tents. There was a primitive toilet and outdoor shower-- with heat! The kitchen was stocked (I did bring a few extras just in case) and both the kitchen area and the dining area were enclosed in a screened in canopy. This was incredibly helpful because it sure was buggy! There were not one but two firepits, plenty of wood for burning, multiple campchairs (including rockers) and incredible details of string lights and tiki torches for light at night. THERE IS EVEN A HOT TUB!!! We also enjoyed the hiking trails on the property and found lots of evidence of healthy wildlife! I would absolutely recommend this site to bigger groups who are looking for 'glamping' (though being in the woods there, we did feel like we were camping! THANK YOU Jay, it was a perfect stay for us!

SO GRATEFUL FOR SUCH A NICE STAY

This place is so cool and is turning into my favorite weekend getaway! It’s a mix between typical glamping tents and camping . Typically the glamping places I’ve stayed have real bathrooms vs outhouses and offer a little more luxurious of an experience. Please know you will have to lug your stuff from your car a small amount of way( like maybe 100 feet ) .Bring a headlamp. It’s really not far but people that overpack or utilize their vehicles for car camping just know the car will not be right next to your tent. The place is pretty stocked with camping supplies and you really don’t need to bring much. DEF STAY HERE!!! Don’t let that small detail deter you. Its beyond worth it and that little bit of work doesnt take long at all as most things you will need are provided . It’s such a large area to yourself and feels so private! Typically the glamping tents I’ve been to do not offer this amount of privacy and you are sharing the space with others . The owners really go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable! I’ve stayed here 2x now and they have never been delayed to respond if I needed anything. The hot tub both times has been phenomenal and worked great! It’s incredible how well it operates when it’s basically secluded in the woods. This is the biggest bonus for this site and why I would choose this over a typical glamping village any day . I plan to return and thank the owners so much for all their hospitality!! If you book here you won’t regret it!!
