Get away from the busy-ness of life at this off-the-grid, Rustic Hideaway! Set on 23 acres with a stream, this newly- built tiny cabin will give you an opportunity to enjoy waking up to birds singing and squirrels chattering while having a unique stay. Grill out on the mini-grill, sit around the bonfire and watch the stars, and enjoy the beauty of the countryside when you stay at Rustic Hideaway. Unseen from the road, this cabin affords privacy and a quaint stay, while being away from it all!Enjoy gazing at the stars by the campfire at nights, relax in the hammock in the shade, explore down by the creek and catch crayfish...enjoy watching the beavers, deer, foxes, and other wildlife while being refreshed in the fresh air. This cabin has no electricity or running water. There is a driveway built for easy, walk-up access to the cabin. The Cabin includes 1 King-size mattress in the loft (bring your own sleeping bags and pillows), and we provide extra blankets. We provide the following things: 1 flashlight 1 battery-operated lantern 1 oil lamp as well as a few candles. There is a solar-powered light at the top of the ladder to the loft. A mini-charcoal grill with provided charcoal. There are several pots and pans provided for you to cook with, as well as a cooler for you to bring food and ice. Water for dish-washing/hand-washing. Handsoap 1.5 gallons of filtered well water for drinking. Guests should bring any extra water with them. Firewood, matches and skewers are provided. First aid kit. There are several books for reading. The toilet is a composting toilet/outhouse. Guests can access the cabin, and surrounding area. Guests are free to explore the creek which is down the hill. A mowed trail makes the creek easy-to-access. Guests are also welcome to explore any trails on the property! There is also a waterfall up the creek just a short way. Note: during the dryest part of the year (July-Sept) the water level is very low and waterfall is more of a trickle. There is a railroad track that runs behind the cabin, So prepare to hear train whistles a few times a day. The cabin is located on a old farm property which is being renovated. It is private and secluded, behind the rest of the farm, and there is a road built that goes directly to it.

Great getaway.
This cabin is perfect for a quiet getaway. The location is great. The cabin was private with a great view and a nice little hike down to the stream. Inside the cabin everything was clean and efficient with just enough amenities to make your stay easy. The bed in the loft was really comfortable and I appreciated the solar bedroom light. The outhouse was really close by. I had great cell service (Verizon). I went into the Adirondacks to do some hiking and Lake George hikes were 1/2 hour -an hour away(depending on which side of Lake George you hiked. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this little cabin.

Cutie Cabin
Cutie little cabin! Quiet, easy to find, friendly hosts. If you’re tall, just remember that and watch your head while sitting up in the bed. ;)

Such a great time!
The Cabin was fantastic. It has everything you need for a short stay. The windows around the bed are a huge plus (especially with hot temperatures at night). Such a peaceful location. Bonus is there are locations within a quick drive for ice and other items you may need. Will definitely plan to return to this spot in the future!!

Quite Weekend Retreat
Took a weekend to get away and stayed here. Awesome location and enjoyed the amenities offered. Loved my neighbors (2 cows) that were fenced in about 20' away from the fire pit. The host are hospitable and welcoming. Quite area close to some good hiking. Cabin was clean and felt like home. I'd stay here again.

Charming and easy glamping
Really great experience. The cabin is charming, clean, and a perfect size for two people. It's got a variety of amenities from drinking water, to cast iron pans and utensils to cook outside with, and even books, such as guides to local nature and activities. The hosts seem to really take care of their extensive and beautiful property and farm, and are extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this option!
