Dog Friendly and Fully Fenced!! This rustic 600 square-foot cabin with a semi-private bedroom and a fold-out couch can comfortably sleep up to 4 adults. The bathroom and kitchen both have modern amenities. There's a wood stove but also electric heat and AC and hot water. Huge sliding glass doors open up to a wrap-around porch. No TV, but Wifi. It sits on 5 wooded acres and nearly a full acre of cleared land is fenced, making it safe for dogs to run off leash. The house sits within the fenced in acre so you can conveniently open the doors and let your dogs run free. There is one visible house across the street from the front of the cabin but it feels very private in the back of the house. There is a firepit. There are two outbuildings onsite that are not available for rent at this time. The cabin is 20 mins from Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Mountain House, and 35 mins from Kingston, New Paltz, Gardiner, Phonecia and Woodstock. Local restaurants of note include Mill and Main, Roughcut Brewing, Westwind Orchard, Arrowood Farms, and Harana. We live in the chalet next door where we offer small group fitness classes most days of the week. Ask us for more info if you're interested.This cabin has been a labor of love for us for more than a decade. We bought it when we (and our dogs) NEEDED space away from NYC. Putting up the fence for our pups to run free while we renovated the house weekend by weekend was our first project. It's still very much a work in progress and we've since moved upstate full-time to the house next door - and had a (human) baby. Things have changed a lot but we're thrilled to now be able to provide a little getaway for people AND their dogs. We know hard it is to find dog friendly (and more importantly, dog safe) rentals out there.

Really peaceful, relaxing, super clean, and convenient space with a modern kitchen and bathroom to keep things nice and comfortable and lots of large windows/sliding doors opening out to the trees, crickets, and cool mountain air. You'll hear the occasional car driving by, and there is a visible neighbor across the road facing the kitchen area/front of the cabin, but we never actually saw or heard anyone around, and the surrounding hill and trees make everything feel really private and quiet. The bathroom had all the essentials and the kitchen was filled with plenty of tools and cutlery. This really is the perfect spot for 2-3 adults with small kids/dogs who want a comfortable place to decompress, let your animals enjoy the sights and sounds, and make s'mores at night around the campfire. Also, this is the most happy and peaceful we have ever seen our irritable fat city cat, who loooved the fenced-in deck for the great sun-bathing, bird watching/listening, and snoozing. 10/10 would come back again.

Cozy Cabin to Disconnect
We booked Queens Cabin for a little birthday get away to disconnect from the day to day. It had beautiful scenes and peaceful environment. Honestly a readers heaven. It had all your basic needs and was mighty comfy. Sara was super helpful and responded quickly! I would highly recommend this cabin escape and would love to come back ❤️

Sara’s land was truly magnificent. The welcoming message we received from them and seeing the space was gorgeous. I stayed there with three dogs and they loved every second of it. It’s quiet and blissful. It had everything we needed. Look forward to visiting again in the future.
