Almost 7 acres abutting state BLM forest! A gravel driveway leads right up to the spacious 16'x10" cabin with loft, generator, (with deposit), lighting, electric cook top, electric heat and fan. Plenty of room for lots of sleeping bags and pads! Bathroom facilities are a hospital toilet. At night, listen to the trees whisper in the wind and the coyotes howl! Deer abound here! Having the public state forest behind the property is like having access to 1000's of acres of hunting grounds. A creek is on the property in the back, (would need to be purified), there is a fresh water, public spring to fill up jugs at down Hoag-Childes Rd where it meets South Rd. There is a pond in the meadow, filled with trout, chub and sunnies. Requires waders to fish, due to it being a former beaver pond. Shore access to the left, it is state land. I am in the process of building a mini walkway/dock! There is public access on dry land along the shoreline (stay on the shoreline, beyond past my property boundaries is private). A HUGE campfire ring for cooking your fish, or just enjoying the fire! Hiking, biking, and fishing are all fun summer activities! In the winter, snowmobilers abound! Cross country skiing is enjoyed by many, as well as ice fishing.
