**Please confirm you have read our property description and rules before booking** Our slice of paradise consists of 225 acres of forested land nestled in the foothills of the Catskills near Albany. We are a homestead and small campground devoted to the principles of organic farming and self-reliance. Modern agriculture and big business are unsustainable, destroying farmland at an accelerating pace. It is important for us to teach the next generation, there is an alternative. We produce much of our own food. We have friendly goats, chickens, ducks, peacocks, donkeys and horses the guests can pet and feed. There are no swimming holes on our property, but many waterfalls and swimming spots within a short drive (see list below). A quick 5 minute drive will get you to one of the best disc golf courses in the north east. For the truly adventurous, Clarksville Cave is a short drive away. Visit their website for list of proper gear and rules. We do rent some of the equipment needed. Site 3 - Magic Forest Farm Camp
Site 3, Nice experience!
We stayed at site 3 but on the one that is closer to the outhouse. Apparently they have one area for the site 3 that is further inside the woods also. It was very beautiful, felt very private and close to the outhouse. The outhouse was clean and well maintained. The outdoor shower was a very nice experience! We saw the hosts but barely exchanged words but that’s ok hahaha The shower had warm water! You can also wash your dishes in a sink there! The animals are cute!

Site 3 - Magic Forest Farm Camp
Fun camping!!!
Beautiful place and very fun for the kids and family. Site 3 was great with two actual sites to chose from. We stayed at the site closest to the cars but was plenty of room for 3 tents and 2 canopies. Great views from multiple spots on the property. Hosts were great and very responsive throughout the stay and would highly recommend. Plenty of trails to hike that are easy enough for small children. Kids loved checking out the animals and there are some gorgeous waterfalls and hikes in the surrounding areas as well. Will definitely be returning to check out other sites on the property.

Site 4 Magic Forest Far Forget-Me-Not Spot
Great experience !
I had a nice peaceful weekend at Site 4 . There were no people nearby so I cannot comment about the noise levels if there are occupied. The campsite 4 is great there is a small table and benches. There is a bbq grill if you need it. Lots of mosquitos and other insects so bug spray is a must.

Site 2 - Magic Forest Farm Camp
The main reason was there was a Thunderstorm on it way . The owner of the camp site have upgraded me to a safe area. Many thanks for what they have done.
