Our land is a harmonious blend of fields, wetlands, and woodlands, providing a serene backdrop for your escape into nature. As stewards of the land, we operate a working organic vegetable farm on a portion of the property, allowing you to witness the beauty of sustainable agriculture. The remaining acres are left wild, offering an untouched landscape for exploration and immersion in nature. For those seeking a unique and off-grid experience, we offer a spacious 12 x 24-foot cabin tent complete with an indoor wood stove. Embrace the simplicity of life without electricity as you cozy up by the warmth of the wood stove, surrounded by the sounds of the forest. Loving Farms invites you to disconnect from the modern world and reconnect with the rhythms of nature. Whether you're exploring the wild expanses of our property, stargazing under the night sky, or enjoying the peacefulness of the Agro-Forest, your stay promises to be a rejuvenating and unforgettable experience in the Finger Lakes.Enjoy a peaceful off-grid stay in this 12 x 24-foot Canvas Tent. The tent has an indoor wood stove, compost toilet, and wash sink. Firewood, potable water, coffee, tea, and hot cereal mix provided. There is also an outdoor picnic area with a fire pit. You can walk, hike, or run trails on our 118 acres of farmland, meadows, and woodland, or just relax, read, meditate, and/or listen to the animals. We are just 30 minutes from Ithaca, and 10 minutes from the 5,000-acre Shindagin Hollow State Forest where you can hike, bike, fish, snowmobile, cross-country ski, snow-shoe, or watch wildlife.

Loving Farms
Such a fantastic place, truly serene and peaceful. The place was STOCKED. We had brought our own camping gear as we were a group of 2 couples (4 people total), but the only thing we had to take out was the extra blow up mattress. Thank you so much for a much needed restful weekend.

Loving Farms
The drive to Loving Farms takes you through picturesque farmlands and forests, setting the stage for a peaceful retreat. Upon arrival, you’ll find plenty of hiking trails to explore the wildflower meadows, nearby forests, and beaver dams. The spacious canvas tent is rustic but equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, making it ideal for both short visits and extended stays. Fall or spring are the best times to visit, allowing you to fully enjoy the wood-fired stove inside the tent. The host was friendly and accommodating, but we had plenty of space and privacy to enjoy the site. Don’t miss the large community fire pit, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars.
