The LoftBarn is part of a dairy farm that dates back to the 19th century.  When we bought the property in 1990, it was a garage for vintage cars.  Since we've owned it, it's been an antique shop, a performance space, a rental unit and now a airbandb. Learn more about this land: LoftBarn is a 19th century barn that has been set up as a living space.  It is about fifty feet from our home but is secluded by trees.  It sits on the bank of a year around stream and there is a bridge across the stream leading to a pond and open land.  LoftBarn will accommodate four people or five in a pinch.  LoftBarn has huge exposed beams downstairs and a forty foot long loft upstairs.  It is both rustic and chic.  There is a complete bathroom and kitchen with amenities.  The decor is funky mid century and comfortable.  There is a new king sized Ikea bed upstairs and a queen sized  high density foam bed downstairs.  The vibe is relaxed and not precious.  LoftBarn is a 19th century barn that has been set up as a living space.

We
My wife and I loved staying at Neil’s property. The area is beautiful, there is a stream right outside the barn. There is also a beautiful hike through the forest and the hills. Neil is a wonderful and friendly host. The barn is warm and has anything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a peaceful and memorable stay. Highly recommend this host.

Just go here.
Wonderfully converted rustic barn on the side of the road. There's a small bride and path to a pond out back. Neal and Susan were available to promptly solve any issues that arose and were very pleasant. The Barn is decorated with really good art. A great way to spend our anniversary. Hint: If Neal offers to give you a tour of his larger barn full of antiques and art definitely take him up on it. I

This is an amazing place to stay in the Catskills. It felt like we were at a friend's house. There was art on the walls, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfy couch to read and relax. We will be back!

Fantastic stay in the Catskills
Group trip
Neil and his wife were extremely accommodative. My friends and I arrived late in the evening and all the things we needed were set up and kept orderly. The space was absolutely beautiful. Would recommend some insect repellent and candles as the home is near a creek. The fire pit was an incredible add!

Great homebase for the Catskills
Group trip
We stayed during the summer for a couple of nights and Neil was a great host. He had all the necessary items we were looking for and he was extremely generous in helping us when we needed! We were looking for a home base to drive around and hike around the Catskills and that is what we got. Only thing is I would make sure to have a car if you are looking to hike as a lot of the better hikes are around 45 minutes to an hour away to hike.
