Turkey Hill RV
Very quiet and secluded spot where the stars can be seen at night. And waking up with some horses just outside the window is a nice way to start the day.

Very Peaceful
Great location, tucked away in a wonderful spot with nothing but birds and nature, oh and horses too. Loved listening to them and the neighboring cows. It's most definitely a peaceful place to park.

Beauty, Peace, Horses
Kathy is a lovely woman. I was one of her first bigger rigs in this spot. If you have a vehicle it's fairly close to downtown Kingston which has lots of cute spaces and locally owned shops. There is a Camping World in Kingston if you lose or forget something. There are also waterfalls and cute hikes nearby. The horses are very friendly. You can see more in my story archive @uniquetravelgirl
I took a train from Rhiencliff to Albany for $22 for a couple of days which was nice.
**Things Worth Noting (With Love)**
Without a decent-sized hose, you cannot have water and electricity at the same time. You'll need at least 20+ feet. There is no sewer as advertised. This is a horse farm. There are tons of flies. Kathy gave me some sticky traps but that didn't work. I went to Citgo and got a spray for $9 which worked. The flies work tirelessly to get in any crack they can.
The spot is not level. If you have blocks and various things you can get it level(ish) . Again, this is a farm in the morning there will be sounds of equipment or the dog might be barking. For me, it was worth it to get out of a campground and be away from people.

Love the country and enjoy horses? Appreciate hip upstate NY towns? Just 30 minutes from Kingston, 15 minutes from Rhinebeck, and minutes from Red Hook is Liberty Farm and a parking spot with your name on it.
Park your RV or pitch a tent near a horse paddock! Perfect for an overnight stay and convenient for longer stays. There is a 50 amp electric hookup (and 220 volt outlets) as well as a water spigot. No toilet. Check the Hipcamp listing for details on the distance of the outlets and spigot from the parking pad. Larger rigs will appreciate the ability to pull through to exit the property.
The area includes the owners’ home, two horse paddocks, a riding ring, and a number of sheds/outbuildings.
In addition to the horses, Kathy has a dog, cat, and chickens.
In the summer, pursue outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, and swimming at nearby Lake Taghkanic State Park (15 minutes away). A little further afield, but well worth the 30 minute drive, is Bash Bish Falls where you can enjoy a short hike to a beautiful waterfall. There's really something for everyone in the area: history buffs will appreciate Old Rhinebeck Aerodome Museum, foodies will enjoy the market, cafe, and distillery, whilst shoppers will browse for antiques and delight in all the boutiques.
