Jara Farms is located just south of Alfred, NY. The 80-acre rolling terrain is about 30 acres of woods and 50 acres of open fields and pastures. This is an active farm with many animals lounging in the pastures. For now we don't have cows. Come and enjoy our beautiful farm with us. We might even put you to work.

Cabin by Pines
Cabin by Pines was a fun experience. The heater worked great during the 29-degree night. James was helpful, and the morning views with coffee were unique. Great stay overall.

Trip to Eclipse
My friend and I were looking for a place to stay near the path of totality. James's cabin was perfect, offering all the creature comforts with great access to nature. We were very warm even with the freezing temperature. James was a great source forlocal advice.

A very kind host / family that is willing and able to accommodate their guests! The weather, buckets of rain, wasn't ideal, but we made the best of it. Make sure you check out the Jara Farms store for the fresh baked goods and amazing donuts in the morning!

Awesome stay
Exactly what we were looking for! Some open land and the beautiful trees full of fall color. The host was so welcoming and kind, and also you have your own space. Would definitely recommend!
