This is a gateway to your adventures between the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks. Granville, NY and Poultney, Vermont - we're on the NY/VT border. This is a sweet campsite and we'll hang a hammock for you. Set up your tent here, and head out for the day! You have shared access to a 1/2 bath and kitchen in the garage. (We lived in the garage while building the house, so it's pretty well set up.) Close to the Slate Valley Trails- a great Mountain Bike trail system, very popular and well-maintained. Poultney, VT, has bike rentals and trails just over the hill. We live in a log home, and the property includes other cabins and ponds and pretty, easy paths for Forest bathing. This is a sweet spot halfway up our driveway, next to a log cabin with a picnic table, and campfire ring ready to light. The red tent in the photos is the tent site. A picnic table, fire ring, and comfy chairs make for an easy night. Our garage offers a little camp kitchen and a composting toilet. Try a solar shower on a sunny day, or rinse off from the fresh rain barrel. Bring your food, and tent to camp here! We're in the big log cabin, and glad to help you enjoy this great property.

Highly recommend Granville Grotto!! The hosts, Gael, Rich, their dog Gypsy and flock of chickens, are so welcoming! Great amenities (inc. free camp wood, wifi, composting toilet, camp kitchen) and location. You're close to Lake George, climbing, hiking, swimming, as well as the green mountains

Really great area for a getaway with kayaking, biking and hiking not too far away. Comfortable bed and thoughtful touches with battery operated lights amd a fan, dry firewood and fire starters.

Gael and Rich were incredibly hospitable! They gave us a tour of the property upon arrival and had many camping amenities readily available for us! This was a great host for the “glamping” type who want the appeal of camping, but with a little more of the amenities! Highly recommend!
