Or forest retreat was only a dream growing up in the city.looked for years. Found this paradise 30 yrs.ago Nancy and I built our log home from scratch with Hemlock logs from this Forest. Learn more about this land: New idea for us .remote but close to town and lake erie.Large area to camp.arrive in day light for tour.house is half of a mile from road .off grid ,lots of trails to walk or bike moderately difficult to easy.fire pit provided along with picnic table.Firewood available,we deliver.A decent start supply is provided.Dogs can swim in pond .all sites are private and on the Stream.we do have an overflow area for rv's.Tent sites are all about 500 ft.apart.

A hidden Gem!!!
We loved site #5, cozy and private, Andy is very accomidating, we would've stayed longer but got rained out. Will definitely be back soon.

Creek adventure
Wonderful! This is our second time staying here. Stayed in site 3 (where we stayed last time, although previous review says site 2). Andrew was gracious and even though we booked site 2, allowed us to switch to site three when we arrived and saw that we booked a different site than we had intended. Babbling brook is so peaceful to sleep by in a tent at night and our boys again had a grand time playing with rocks, sticks, and leaves in the creek. Firewood a’plenty. Parking in site 3 is a little tight if you have a larger vehicle,but doable in our minivan. Andrew checked in on us by text and in person, and let us know about a recent scarlet tanager sighting.

Share our forest retreat.
This is my second time camping here. I absolutely love being on Andy's and Nancy's property. This time I brought my 10 year old, my dog, and a buddy. Talk about peaceful. This was just what I needed. We set up camp and just relaxed. Nancy and Andy both came by a couple of times to make sure all was well. Highly recommend spending some time here.
