Learn more about this land:
Campsite area is an old field that the cover crop is rotated yearly for soil health, beneficial insects and of course to feed the local wildlife neighbors! The entire north boarder sits on the Canisteo river with deep water holes that are great for catching massive carp, swimming, kayaking or canoeing. Mallard and Wood ducks have nesting areas all along the river in this area and is pretty common to see them swimming along and diving for small fish! There is also an abundance of White Tail Deer in the area that us the field for grazing and traveling to the river bed to quench there thirst.
The land is beautiful. Campsite is quiet and very private, loved that. Right on the river! Christopher the landowner is an excellent communicator.
I suspect that I was one of his first campers, as the path to the actual site was a cleared section of a crop field. Getting to the site required driving my low clearance vehicle across some sections of thick hay, which got stuck to my car. So for now i recommend a higher clearance vehicle.
