The Cedar River Eco-Resort is a one-of-a-kind rustic camping + glamping retreat located in the heart of the Adirondacks in Indian Lake, NY on 330+ acres with a private lake, river frontage, and beautiful mountain views featuring islands, hiking trails, kayaks, canoes, great fishing and much more. We offer Pitch-Your-Own-Tent (PYOT) sites, fully furnished glamping tents, and soon will have geodesic domes, modern tiny home cabins, treehouses, a newly renovated 8 bedroom lodge, and an event pavilion for small events, weddings, retreats, and family/friend reunions. We look forward to hosting you and give all of our return guests the friends & family discount.Whether looking to get away with family and friends or have a romantic outing in nature, this destination in the heart of the Adirondacks is sure to amaze! With 330+ acres, a private lake, and the Cedar River flowing through, there are ample activities to do onsite such as kayaking/canoeing, tubing, fishing & hiking. Nearby white water rafting, dining, and much more. Fun fact: Tesla and Edison once camped here in Indian Lake en route to one of the first hotels in the US to have electricity.

Amazing views

Group trip

The tent is right in front of the lake, the views are amazing both during daylight and night. You can kayak, canoe, or fish in the paddle boat. The host visited us and asked if we wanted anything. Overall, awesome experience!

Such a beautiful location and site! The tent was huge and had everything we could ever need. Clean and nice. The view on the lake and the canoes and kayaks were so cool. I’m not a big camper and it was very comfortable for me.
