Cozy platform bell tent glamping site. A king bed with new mattresses can also be separated and used as two twin beds. Spacious and simply decorated bell tent. Basic pots, pan, dishes and flatware provided. Cooking area and separate fire pit. New out house. On a quiet country road, one mile from fishing, access to private woods for walking and pond for swimming. The area is filled with natural beauty, rivers, farmland and quiet.Enjoy our platform bell tent with a king-sized bed. The bed frame is custom-made and can be separated into two twin beds if preferred. Enjoy lounging on the spacious platform, sitting by the fire pit, cooking in separate cooking area with basic cooking and dining ware supplied. Enjoy a plunge in our spring-fed pond just across and down the road a bit. Fishing is one mile away. The area offers an abundance of nature walks, hikes, beautiful drives, farmland, small towns, farm markets, restaurants, shops and more! The site is on a quiet country road. New outhouse. NOTE:: Check day and night temps and weather and be prepared for the weather! In September and October please bring your own sleeping bag. We have three blanket but the nights can be cold. There is no electricity or running water at this camp site. RULES: 1. Follow fire safety. Put out fire when you leave. Do not leave fires unattended. make sure it is all the way out. This is a basic camping rule to prevent forest fire and other damage. 2. This is a carry in carry out site. Bring your own trash bags and remove trash from the site when you leave. Please leave with everything you brought. Thanks! 3. Do not leave food unattended. Keep food in lock box or in your car when you are not eating. This is a basic camping rule for animal protecting and to protect other people in the area. 4. Do not leave tent windows open when it rains or when you are not at the site. The side windows especially will flood the tent. 5. Bedding is for use inside the tent. please bring your own blankets for outside use, stargazing, picnic, etc. 6. Leave the site clean and organized the way you found it. The cleaning fee is for washing linens, blankets, dishes and pots and cleaning the bathroom, sweeping, Thank you!

Super Cool Campsite!

What a great stay at Firefly! Just me and the dogs had a great time exploring, cooking over a real wood fire, and enjoying all the creature comforts and small details Monica provides. Great balance between glamping and camping and having to bring pretty much nothing but food was awesome. Super quiet, great location, and a just the right amount of isolation but just close enough to civilization. Bed was comfy, outhouse was spotless, and the tent was cozy and spacious. We had a blast!! I would highly recommend a stay👍.

Monica’s camp was absolutely amazing. It was very clean and she had everything you’d need there. She was more than accommodating for us and our pups. The land surrounding camp was beautiful and she recommended some beautiful walking trails nearby. She was very easy to talk to and get ahold of…Will be back for sure!

Great camp with better hosts!

We had an incredible stay here and will return on our next trip through the area. Everything was clean and well thought out and the hosts were attentive and easy to contact. The site camp prepped with ample firewood and when it got wet from a thunderstorm the hosts brought wheelbarrows full of dry wood with tarps to us within the hour! Site is on a pretty quiet road so even though we were minutes from town it felt remote and private. 10/10

This was our first glamping experience, and it was absolutely wonderful. The tent was super clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and had a great suggestion for a nearby waterfall.

Glamping with a toddler!

We loved glamping at Monica’s place . The peacefulness, the quiet road, the stream nearby, and the set up ‘mini kitchen’ was a bliss. Our 2 year old toddler enjoyed running around and the forest walks. We recommend this place and will be back in the future.
