The cabin is located in a remote area of Bear Swamp State Forest. It is about 5 miles from the nearest paved road but has seasonal roads that take you to the cabin. There are many close attractions like Skaneateles Lake and Carpenters Falls. The Cabine doesn’t have electricity or water but we do have a generator. We do not have a shower or bathroom But we have a outhouse. We do ask people to bring their own gas if you want to run the generator and woods to make a fire.We have the cabine available but you are welcome to bring you own camper. Beautiful cabin in the woods! Very well maintained and Cynthia was very kind and helpful. Great place for a small group. We brought some friends who had never been camping before so this was a great introduction.

Love the cabin! Definitely bring lots of lights if you aren't used to simple cabin livin'. It rained while we were there, Definitely take a 4WD!

Good place for solitude. Drove past it initially, but the host was available for text/phone immediately and set me straight.

So peaceful.
It was very, very private. We loved not being tied to our phones. A total break from the real world.

Lovely
Very quiet and secluded area. Generator was a huge plus! The road wasn’t the best for our little Impreza but we made it!

Super private, lots of trails and creeks nearby great for hiking, biking and fishing. I love the wood stove!! And theres also a 3 burner propane stove with oven inside, and a blackstone griddle on the deck so cooking is not an issue! Also there is a generator so if you need to charge up phones etc you are good to go. The kids had a great time finding salamanders, frogs, and snakes, this place is really cute and cozy! We will be back!!! again!
