Twenty years ago, 317 Springtown Road was an abandoned 27 acres farm, and an eyesore to everyone. What Farmer Ray, a well known chef for 30 years, saw was an opportunity to actualize his dreams of having a place to raise animals and grow vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers to share with others. Full of potential, his field of dreams has become a working farm, home to chickens, bees, pigs, cats, along with row after row of vegetables, flowers and herbs.Nestled on 27 acres, you are under the farm's chestnut trees. WE PROVIDE A 10x 12 canvas TENT, (sleeps 2 adults and up to 2 kids) queen bed, and additional flip out mattress (for kids), fire pit, grill, and portopotty. LARGER PARTIES ARE WELCOME! If you have additional campers, you can book a second tent adjacent to the main tent. (Sleeps 2 adults (blow up mattress) and up to 2 kids) which would cost an additional $50 for each additional person per night. You can see the beautiful mountain ridge in the distance, and the rows of organic vegetables. We adjoin the fabulous 30 mile rail trail, have everything from pigs, chickens, goats, ducks and turkeys, and a seasonally stocked farm stand.
