Camp with Friendly Farm Animals
An Absolute Blast for Animal Lovers
Camping is a good time on its own, but add some animal friends and it instantly becomes an above-average experience! Of course that's subjective. You may pet any of the animals, pick up the smaller ones, and even feed them your leftovers. They might come visit your campsite during the day. But the two thing everyobe should prepare for are: animal poop everywhere, and the animals trying to steal your food. Having someone on crowd control while another cooks might be a smart idea, if you plan to cook on the campsite. The goats have no table manners and might jump on the picnic tables if there's food, and the chaos that could ensue is just adorable!
I would absolutely do it again!

Best time round 2!
Best camping experience ever and just one of my favorite places in general. 2nd time camping here now. I looked forward to coming back literally every day since I left last summer & have been doing the same since I left this time. If you are an animal lover looking to get away from everyday life for a while it's a no brainer. There is something surreal about looking out your tent in the morning to be greeted by an assortment of different farm animals. You also have a nice view of the lake down the hill from a lot of the campsites. Sometimes the animals can be a handful. Mostly when you are cooking but it is nothing unmanageable if you have at least one person helping you out. Your gear could potentially get ripped or damaged but its rare. & when it happened to me I found it more fun/amusing than anything. It's part of the experience of camping on a farm. I just wouldn't recommend bringing your most expensive glamping gear & plan to get dirty. Paul & Marilyn are great hosts. Very friendly & accommodating. They are always very busy on the farm but always make time to check up on the guests and make sure everything is going smoothly. There is plenty of fire pits all over to set up camp. Some even have nice new picnic tables. The outhouse was clean. & wash house always had hot water. They have some kayaks & canoes if you want to get on the water. It's close to Bethel Woods. We caught Deep Purple concert there one night. Overall amazing experience and can't wait to get back

Great little farm! Go check it out!
This is a great place to getaway for a long weekend. Decided to pack up late on a Friday and get away from NYC for a bit. Paul (owner) contacted me back after I sent a last minute message and he welcomed me up. Well, I can tell you it was well worth the drive. Paul and his wife were delightful and there to welcome you on property. I arrived late, set up camp in the dark, and woke up Saturday morning to a donkey in my camp ! Once the sun rose I got to see the layout of the place and it’s a beautiful little homestead with happy animals comfortably walking around and grazing the property. Geese, sheep, chickens, beef cows, highland cattle, goats, a donkey, and two happy pigs were just out and about-wandering around. You camp wherever you want and the property has different tiers where you can setup. On site amenities available, outdoor shower and compost toilet. Firewood available for cheap to buy onsite. In addition to the charm of this unique farm, is a fantastic view from their lakefront. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the use of their kayaks and boats due to rain. But next time I go back I’d definitely explore the lake by boat. The sun set on this great place, and it was a comfortable night on the farm with several dozen happy campers and woke up Sunday to a pig in my camp! I broke camp and head out Sunday morning after another great conversation with the owner. Picked up 3lbs of fresh meat and rib-eye to go! All in all it’s a great little getaway and well worth it IMO. 🍻

Camp with Friendly Farm Animals
This was a lovely place to camp if you are good with the farm animals. I did not see a ton of poop like other reviews have said. I stayed here for a concert at Bethel Woods and they provided a shuttle person to take us to and from the show. He could have been a little more mindful with his driving, but we made it there and back alive regardless. The owners were great, friendly and helpful. Loved having the kayaks and use of the lake. A great value and I will be staying here when I go to another show at bethel woods.

Must Camp here!!
Absolutely loved my first camping trip through Hipcamp! My friends and I were kindly greeted by a beautiful little cow at around 11pm at random on out first night which was absolutely phenomenal. ALL of the animals are friendly!! Come morning, we were surrounded by goats, roosters and chickens. We pet all of the animals besides the birds, with no retaliation.. The camp amenities were a huge plus.. having wifi was beneficial though seldom used for anything besides video calling loved ones during our friendly animal encounters...definitely plus!! The owners were very friendly and helpful as well! Very amazing trip. Looking forward to my next visit here!!
