Site 1 - ADK Mountain View Campground
We stayed on site 1. It was very private, enough room for our 16 foot travel trailer and truck to pull through. Nice outhouse, Adirondack chairs and fire pit. It was a good home base for us to mountain bike and hike in the area. You can see and hear the highway so I wouldn't recommend for someone who wants to spend alot of time at the site relaxing.

Site 1 - ADK Mountain View Campground
Great night of family camping!
This is such an unexpected gem of a site! While I was a little apprehensive after seeing how close I87 runs to the campsite, the reality is that we found ourselves in a beautiful, peaceful spot tucked into the trees. Traffic sounds were minimal, and we felt like we had the wilderness to ourselves!
The highlights include: a well made, sturdy, and clean privy equipped with a light and a secured roll of TP; a picnic table and fire ring; plenty of flat grassy area for a few tents; very helpful signage showing where to go; and breathtaking views of the moonrise and sunrise!

Spectacular mountain views
Sarah's land was beautiful! The campsite's layout was well thought out, the outhouse was clean and well-supplied, and it even had a motion light inside, which was so helpful after dark, and the views were gorgeous! The site offers a dramatic view of mountains and rolling fields and looks straight toward the sunset. The fire ring was perfect, and the Adirondack chairs were a wonderful addition. The sites are within earshot of the interstate; we live in a very rural area, so we noticed the road noise. You probably won't be bothered if you don't live in the middle of nowhere like we do. And I mean, the middle of nowhere!
